What's they best thing to put on my hand to stop them getting sweaty when I do ceremonial rifle practice on saturday which will be for about 5 hours!

Chalk is out of the question, would antipersperant help, or is there something else?

cement in the barrel?
a good anti perspirant should do it.. use one like mitcham and brush off the surplus once it has dried.... if I can get a better suggestion from my uncle who used to shoot with the met police I will let you know or maybe one of the ex forces guys can help

They have cement down the barrel so they can't be shot, well the other one's we did have, anyway they don't have a bolt, so can't be shot by anyone even if they can egt hold of ammo some how.

I can't use talc, it'll get on my uniform and I can't keep wiping my hands on my uniform either, that's why i'm on here, after help.
And every time we suggest something, it's a nope ;)

How would that help? Plus we wouldn't be allowed to wear it with our uniform.

Mainly because it's heavy and you have to hold it for a long time vibra. It's not too heavy for me to cope with it jsut makes your arms ache after a while though.
