All of a sudden, from yesterday in fact, I've gone a bit wobbly, such as when I get out of bed, though not fast and sometimes when I look up or down. There's no pain or nausea though, just a wobbly kind of feeling. Could this be due to something within the ear and is it treatable; would I have to see my doctor? Ta Muchly.

...our time will come, lottie....
I am afraid to say it isn't, I would struggle to get to Manchester and The AB monthly quiz has been arranged for Saturday night and I cannot let my team mates down, especially the big cat himself, Lie-in-King, Purrrrrrrr♥

I think you will have a great time all the same ♥
Come on mamya, that's a cop-out, the Quiz is on a Friday..... ;-)
mamya.....come on....where is your sense of adventure......5* restaurant with a 6* guy......go on.......give them something to talk about.

The red PVC miniskirt and the red high heel shoes are not obligatory.....go on...say YES.
Sqad....there is a red light district in manchester...I am sure one Mr Rooney can recommend someone for your particular tastes.....

so sorry being very wicked.......
rowan...well...how about a 4some.....mamy, me, you and red?
I'm sure woodelf won't mind his post being turned into a dating agency..
Bit of a distance thing pet I'm in Birmingham this weekend Red is in Wales...

Sqad I am glad you have inserted some humour now, do not feel as guilty in politely declining your kind offer. If I wore my mini and thigh high boots my dear you would be spoilt for life, could not do that to Mrs Sqad.

In all seriousness, I struggle with public transport and for obvious reasons cannot drive, but the invite has made me smile, still love ya ♥
ok back 'on message''
have to say being a sufferer of intermittant bouts of labyrinthitis it didn't sound right to me either...surely you need to have rotational disorientation and nausea.... My first thought was postural hypotension...did enough lying and standing BPs on old people during the nursing thing...
Mamya, thank you for the link - I'd missed that one from squarebear, oh bother, I've had an invitation for Saturday...........tisk, I will have to contact the A Team and regroup!
mamy......no problem, I would come and get you and drop you back, but OK...I know when I am :-( not wanted. Perhaps if it had been chuckfickens (bloody stupid name) or perhaps andy-hughes ( too sensible for an evening out) you would accepted, but sqad........no chance. I have never been successful with the ladies, always laughed at, not handsome and a complete failure....but was hoping that you, above all other people would understand. No, don´t feel sorry for one of life´s losers, I do understand, .......really..........I do!
mamy...LOL..."that will do nicely"
Hi all, just spotted this post and have to agree with a few of you and say it doesn't sound like Labyrinthitis to me. I got Labyrinthitis at the beginning of this year and am still suffering from it. I still have not been able to drive and have to use a stick to walk to stop from falling over. It was weeks before I could get out of bed when I first got it and even then it was with the other half to hold me when walking. It was like being drunk without having the fun of gettin drunk and like being on a ship in a rough sea when walking. It is not a pleasant thing to get and would not wish it on my worse enemy. From what woodelf put it doesn't sound like the same thing. I know the post has changed now to something a bit light hearted but just thought I would let you know what I thought. Here is a link for woodelf to see if it's the same.

First line of treatment for dizziness seems to be try some stemetil because it is easy and if it works it probably was labyrintitis or at least a mild case of it...when I get it I am bed bound for at least a couple of days and walk around holding my head very still for a couple of days after it...couldn't be triggered in a balance lab though apart from with the hot/cold water in my ears which made me throw up nicely for them

Probably old news now Sqad, but I bet you'd look a wow in red shoes and matching vinyl!

Hey Mamy, what's this about actual quiz teams?...are they for real or virtual?...I miss my time in a quiz team...and I promise not to faint!...smile.
woodelf, in case mamya's not around, it's squarebear's on-line quiz - http://www.theanswerb...s/Question951741.html

Squarebear can allocate you to a team if you feel you'd like to join in, he can explain to you how to register. Some of it's pictures, some of it's music or sound clips. It's good fun.
