Thanks for all the genuine answers... i am not boring, far from it! i love sex, and lots of it, and i am... apparently gorgeous, so im told. So i doubt that he is bored with me, i am still confused as to what to do, but i think im pretty sure we will split up

It sounds like you want to split up. If he say's the pop sock is nothing to do with him, how can you break up your marriage over something you have no proof of.

You need to give him the benefit of the doubt, because a pop sock could have found itself into your home in any way. If you had a pet, it could have brought it in.

I once pulled a black thong that wasn't mine out of the washing machine. Other half seemed genuine when he pleaded ignorance.... only explanation that I could come up with was that he'd just been back at his mothers' for the weekend and it could have been hers/his sisters & had got mixed in with his dirty laundry. Has your husband been staying at a relatives/friends and could have picked it up by accident?
