I found Dating Direct very good.
Though, as with any of these sites, you have to sort out the wheat from the chaff.

I would personally only go with well-known ones such as D/Direct, Match.com etc. Or any personally recommended by others.

You'll always find the 'weirdos' - never mind which one you use. And you have to use your common sense as to what personal info you give out, and if you decide to meet in person. Surely that goes without saying?!!

Depends what you're looking for. The mother in law went on match.com (I think she got 3 months free) and had loads of guys chatting to her, she was 'seeing' a couple at one time to keep her options open, she is now with a chap who was married (but confessed, eventually, then left his wife), seems very happy. I think it's quite a gamble but you might get lucky, probably better to go on a popular site with more subscribers to get more chance of meeting someone who isn't very strange!

I met one guy who took me to a CHIPPY for dinner then said I was to pay half, was unshaven, wearing a cagoul and trainers, then he made a drugs deal on his moby on the way back to the car park - and I am NOT joking. His online pic must have been at least 15 years old. Needless to say I was home by 8.30pm.
I took a right slagging for that one!
