rule of thumb in my mind is a woman likes a man to be happy in his skin and so it does not matter if he is hair or not, nothing worse than a bloke who waxes and preens himself.

I hate an overly hairy 'rug like' chest on a guy, a bit of hair aroung the nips and in the middle is fine, but hairy legs and arms and back is just bleh bleh bleh, they get stuck in your teeth ! ! hehehe

I dont understand the specifics of some of the womens replies, its not like you can make hair grow to a specific thickness or shape. it reminds me of when young women make a wishlist for men and the list is so specific that no man fits the bill.

My OH is not that hairy and I prefer him that way, I don't like very hairy men, my brother in law is like and ape, it's all over his back chest arms legs; and before you ask how do I know, we've all been on holiday together.

If you gave me the choice I'd go for not too much hair. My ex-husband had a hairy back (not a turn-on, but not the reason he's ex) and the current OH hasn't got much hair on his chest. But I do find bald men attractive and it usually seems that the more hair there is on the head the less there is on the chest and vice versa. Does it slip?

As for my age, well I retain a woman's right to discretion but I won't see 30 again, or 40, or... ok, I'm not what you'd call young.

I agree with Cazz1975's last sentence completely - if I had to state a preference it would be for a hairy chest, but my partner of 7 years only has a little bit of hair and because I love him it doesn't matter a bit - I am more than happy with what I have. Just be yourself, and hopefully any lady worth her salt will accept you for who you are and what you have.
