Looks like everyone is making a special effort at the start of the year after the indulgence over the holidays.

Well done to everyone!!!

With Valentine's Day coming up why not try something more healthy instead of the traditional chocs or dinner out?

Does anyone have any tasty, low fat recipes for treats or romantic meals at home?

Woops forgot it was wednesday. The week is going too fast. Will weigh tomorrow.
my weigh- in is also tonight. I know Ive lost at least 2 lbs owing to not being able to swallow for a couple of day and living on soup and yoghurt. Just hope I dont put it all back on when I start eating properly again.

Only 1lb off this week and I know Wendilla will tell me off for saying "only" but I was disappointed. Oh well, back to the books and menu planning again. At least it's still in the right direction.
Slowly and steadily is the way to loose the weight and keep it off Jan. Well done.
Thanks xstitcher. Just want to do it all now though! I know you are right but get frustrated when the scales only show 1lb loss when I have been good all week (okay, except for the wine...... oh and the Baileys. Damn, forgot the Baileys). Must try harder I think is this week's motto.
Yes Jan you are right .Only is better than none and you have really done well with what you have already lost.You will slow done it does get more difficult but you will get there. Hope you enjoyed the Bailleys. One of my favourite drinks.I made some at xmas . I will weigh in the morning.
Up !!!!!!! 2½ lbs. No sure I know why either. Granted over the week I've been almost 10% above target intake, so ok, maybe I should have stayed the same, but up !?! Not a happy bunny. A short while ago I was looking forward to decrementing the stone figure, but now I'm half way to incrementing it. :-(
Great for me, I lost 3 lbs !!! Ive just got to keep that off and more from now on. Never mind OG just keep going, thats the answer and you will be rewarded in the end
Good Morning Everyone,

Much to my surprise I am down a bit, but oh so much to go. Yesterday I heard on the TV the difference between a dream and a goal and the long and short of it is that a dream becomes a goal when put into a time frame.
Tomorrow I have my last cataract operation and when I can again resume my exercises I am going to set myself a goal and get properly focused which is something I am not at the moment.
I hope that everybody else will be signing in with good news and that the naughty step will be empty this week.
Onwards and downwards.

I think I may have gone up a bit in tonights weigh in. Being back on normal food and back to work doesnt help. All these lovely pancakes that were made yesterday. Couldnt resist them and Im not even a pancake fan !! My OH is also trying to lose and we are both about the same weight now so we are having a race to see who can get to 11stone first.
Will log in tomorrow to give a report. Over and out x

Good Morning all

I have given myself a good talking too. Now the weather is getting warmer there is no excuse. I sent off for a few articles and they were a bit tight so as a punishment I have kept them and will fit in a few weeks. I have given my self till end of March to lose 12 lbs. I have stayed the same and that is not good enough.
Xstitcher all the best for tomorrow and I know you will get back on track.

Well done Jan1957, I lost 1lb this week as well. Got my 5% sticker, yippee. Long way to go.
Well done Jan.I always used to look at the blocks of fat in the supermarket and when I lost x amount of weight I would pick up that amout and feel what I had been carrying.
The AB has had problems today with getting the posts to the subscribers but it seems to be fixed now, in case any of you have had problems......
sorry not been posting here for a while, too busy chasing after the dieting wagon that I fell off! Was fine over Christmas, but after the holidays, I just couldn't get in the right frame of mind to do it, but have this week started over, so my weigh-in was on Monday with more than a couple of pounds up, so having been good so far this week, hopefully I should be coming on next week with some more positive news. Well done to all those who have lost this week.

All Im saying is - I blame it on those pancakes :>(
