What is your favourite way of getting some fresh air?

OOOOh I love antiques. I can sit on a wagon holding the best pieces and you lot can push me....how about that.
We also have 4 dogs,23 chickens and 7 rabbits to to get up there lol.

Its going to be a long day or 5!!
I wish you all the sucess then Smowball. Many years ago I used to go Weightwatchers and when I got to my goal I took the job on as secretary just to keep me going every week .

Ratter you can count me out for lifting but I will do the animals. And keep everyone supplied with drinks. I can remember watching a film that they had to unload to another van to get up to house can't remember what it was called but it came to mind as soon as you mentioned it.
harness the rabbits and then the dogs are harnessed after them who in turn are harnessed to a little wagon for the chickens. The rabbits run from the dogs, the dogs chase the rabbits, and the chickens get pulled up to your new home....easy peasy...
I can just picture that lol lol .
lol xstitcher, I cant even try to imagine bedlam that would ensue!, Talk about "over the hills and far away!"
My favourite way of getting fresh air is entirely seasonal, so it would probably be walking around the wonderful public art in Chicago in the summer. (I live in Bristol UK) There is no motivation to be out and about in the grey miserable weather that we've been having. This is a cheap way of asking people about motivation. I'm an older man who loves to eat and drink yet wants, and recognise that I should, lose some weight. My problem is that at my age I feel that my choices are different, and I can't feel any motivation to lose weight which outweighs (not deliberate!) my feeling of punishment and poor quality of the lesser amount of life that I have left. I would appreciate any sensible advice. Actually I don't mind daft advice, as long as its funny,
Hello West. Actually there are quite a few of us that have bus passes or are well on our way to get them. We go in for gentle exercise or motion and sensible eating...well most of the time anyhow. As you will see we do fall off the wagon and when our weighing in day comes along every Wed. some of us are banished to the naughty step. Our main goal is to cheer each other along, praise when praise is due and sympathy when the scales go the wrong way. We don't judge or preach. Welcome aboard.
Hello west 12 and welcome. Xstitcher and myself started this post over 2 years ago. We are both elderly and xstitcher started this off by asking what can be done to keep us trim and she got a reply saying why bother at our age or something to that affect. I replied to her and it took off from there. We gain some we lose some but lots come back. We are not experienced to deal with technical things for losing weight we just try to give one another tips on what we do and discuss recipes.
A few of our ladies and gents are middle aged and maybe more.
It is not so easy when you can't walks lots like you used to and not to do the strenuous exercises
Hi West12 and welcome, I'm more middle ages than most and the scales have just started being mean to me, I was doing well until the last couple of weeks.
Thanks everyone, I'll post my weight next Wednesday and take it from there.
Hi West it is not compulsory to state your weight only if you want to . We normally just put up our gains or losses. Look forward to seeing you here Wednesday. I don't mind 2 years ago I was 13 st got down to 11 . then nearly 10 . Now I have put 1 stone back on so battling with that as no way I am starting all over again.
I lost a little bit today, so just bubbling under 13 stone today, however tomorrow I have a Nephews wedding to go to, where I will have all sorts of niceties forced on me along with some alcoholic beverages, I will do my very best to resist but I think resistance could well be futile! :-(
Congrats on getting under 13 stone Ratter. Of course you must enjoy the food laid out at the wedding. It would be rude not to I think, but see if you can limit the damage by deciding ahead of time to keep the dangerous things down to a minimum except for one favourite thing....just an idea but maybe it would work...
I have already told myself, "Do not touch Ryvita" I think anything else will be fair game!!
Yeah yeah, you'll come a long way with that! lol
Yeah, don't eat more than one favourite wedding cake !
No worries OG, I will eat just one wedding cake, probably the bottom tier!
Enjoy your day Ratters. You know how to get back on track.
