Good Morning All, Blimey, despite going mad with the shortbread I have gone down two pounds. The only explanation I can give is that everything else that I have eaten must be right. At any rate I don't recommend everybody casting themselves over shortbread. I just happened to remember some being left over from Christmas and once remembered was the beginning...
That seemed to work for me for a while Wend, but then I stopped seeing an apparent affect. Not done that for ages now. Maybe I should give it another go.
I find that spray oil is good and I haven't seen any extra weight because of it. It certainly helps you limit what you use and let's face it, we need to use some oil now and then.
Hello everyone, I'm making a sheepish comeback (again). I have let things seriously slide and now need to make a real effort to lose what I've put on in the last 4 or 5 months (work related grief = comfort eating!). My uniform has become really tight so drastic action is required.........! :o(((
I've got the olive oil and wok stirfry spray which are 1 cal per spray.
Many smoothies contain bananas which are quite high in calories. Best thing to do is just have fruit in its natural form and have a 1:4 or 2:3 ratio in favour of veg. Based on 5 a day that is.

And you did not even offer to share them Xstitcher. Probably just as well as I have stayed the same. Just need a kick start to get rid of that 4 lbs that crept on before I could get started on this stone I am trying to shift.
Folk may recall my scales were playing up last time and I ended up not posting. Over the last fortnight I have gone down 2⅛ lbs.
But it's been a weird week. A reaction to a prescribed medecine meant that for a few days I was eating well under goal. More or less fasted for 1½ of them. I thought it would have a silver lining when I weighed myself, but on returning to eating more normally, much of it returned.
Thanks all, Maydup quite often when we stand still for a while despite eating the way we should it just suddenly falls off. I hope this happens for you what with the walking and all.
I believe the body has some sort of mechanism that allows it to detect what it considers 'normal weight'. So until you convince it that a lower weight is 'normal' it tries to maintain.
Well done xstitcher with your loss. I am joining the group who have stayed the same this week, which is ok with me. Bit more fish is on my menu for the next few weeks as I don't eat enough.
I had a bit of a fail yesterday and its my first week! Went to the canteen with my own lunch but they were serving chocolate brownies with chocolate sauce :o( I made up for it in the evening though and just had half a carton of chicken and sweetcorn soup.
