Good afternoon,
Sorry we're late - but that's because I am covering for ABAuntie.
Here's last month's thread
Did we survive Halloween?
I am off on a holiday shortly, and I am not "beach-body ready", this is a real picture of me:
Anyway, that ship has sailed for this trip in the sun, and I intend to mostly eat as many deep fried sea creatures as possible.
As always, it's difficult to dodge the "events" happening at any time of the year - especially when it comes to convienience. If you're going to a fireworks dusplay this weekend you might want to think about taking something tasty to keep you warm.
Now, it's not the healthiest thing in the world, but this butternut squash soup with chilli is the best thing for standing by a nice bonfire, or staying warm while you wait for someone to finally light the firework and run back at home:

What's your favourite outdoor-warm-food?
Maybe you could help me find the slimming world version of the above?
Either is still going to be better than something from the hotdog van!
.... Or do you all let yourselves go for events like guy fawkes night?

BEDNOBS well done but you will slow down in the next week or two and that is where the hard work begins especially on a diet that is why we don't call ourselves on a diet we are healthy eating ..
Plan your meals for the week and you are less likely to stray write everything down which helps with your following weeks shopping .these clubs are all money making. It's keeping it off that is difficult so if you get into the habit of healthy eating it is much easier.my motto is cut out the fat and the crap . Have a treat when you feel down . It helps . Good luck

This is rather weird. No change here either. Well that's not strictly true. Over the week it went down then up then back down then after the 3 days weekend had shot up so I was very unhappy, and finally come back to where I was. (Which wasn't a particularly good weight anyway, but compared to yesterday ..... !)
No change from the November thread over to a December thread and no change from me eiether!
What's wrong with me? I am fine with my meals and then let myself down with forbidden snacks in between. I'm not eating these at home and they are not in my weekly shop but yesterday I couldn't resist a lemon tartlet in a coffee shop and a choc bar at the petrol station in the evening! Maybe confessing here will stop the denial. I'm just lucky not to have gained. Better luck to you all.
