Abbeylee. I hope you get your pay query sorted out. PS If you're ever going to be able to afford a place of your own, I think you'll need more than 30 hours a week ... and possibly a better paid job!

Someone gave you a job?
Abbey has no.problem getting interviews or jobs.

Laina11, Abbey told us that she works 30 hours a week (and not seven days a week).
Abbey works 30 hours a week, not 8 hours a day, 7 days a week.
We don't know if she worked a week in hand nor the date of the month she gets paid
And 4th Aug to 31st August is 28 days not 27....but as its 30 hrs a week can you recalculate?
LAINA11, one or two issues with your calculation.

The work started on the fourth so your supposed number of days worked is a day out.

For some reason, you have assumed eight hours are worked every day with no days of rest.

The actual number of hours worked each week is thirty and not fifty-six.

Judging by lainis posts so far I think she's just getting her foot in the door of AB. Or could just be AI
I think Laina has left the building
and abbeylee has left the thread?
Is there an update abbey... do you have more info??

maybe she'll have time now to do a day or shifts at macDonalds again to help her finances
Sounds like an ASDA wage. All breaks are unpaid. You are probably on an emergency tax code. Your payslip online will tell you which code you are on. You need to phone the tax office and get it changed to the proper one. You should get back any over payment.
Abbey. Just a thought. Did you get a P45 from your last employer? If so, this should be shown or given to your present employer to obtain correct tax code
Any update Abbey...I seen your around
