cooling off period

i recieved a phone call from phones 4 u offering me a free upgrade on my handset and an 18 month extension to my contract ive now decided that i dont want this and when i phoned them they sais there is no cooling off period i thought there was 7 days under the distance regulations i just think they are lieing to me so i keep the deal

You are right of course - the DSR applies to contracts made over the telephone and applies to services as well as goods.
