I've arranged to meet this guy on Saturday and I feel nervous about him but hope we get on.

I don't understand why she has to hide her earnings/dates/job losses/reductions in ours or outings etc with the man from her mother.

*hours

I understand I believe yes - I don't understand the 100s and 100s of responses to someone who does not have the mental capacity to absorb or understand any of them, I get some of you love being helpful but this woman needs proper care and support in real life.

Everything you all write is completely ignored, it's purposeless apart from boosting the site.

Greyseal 24 hours and you do?

11.12 Maybe Floko passed on info to Greyseal about Abbey?

As I said incase it dont work out

Abbey, you've said before that your mum is quite understanding. She'll know that a first date is nothing more than ... a first date. It might lead to a second date, it might lead to you not being keen on the guy, it might lead to the guy not being keen on you. You could always mention it casually to your mum, or just wait and see how it goes. PS You seem very keen to keep things - usually the disasters - from your mum.

Try not to let this guy's medical condition define him in your eyes.

He is not his epilepsy.  He is a person, with feelings, emotions, thoughts, likes and dislikes.  His epilepsy is secondary to all of that.

When you are chatting with him, do not let fear of his epilepsy be at the forefront of your thoughts. Get to know him as a person, enjoy his company and decide if you like him, based on that.

Hopefully, it will be a relationship that will work out for you in a nice way.

On the contrary, most of us don't ask questions of abbey because it wouldn't be considered polite site behaviour. Most of us know the reality though.

I'm ok with his epilepsy. It's just parents ask 20 questions and of it don't work out is it worth it?

thank god your parents care enough to try to at least do a modicum of protection for their vulnerable daughter!

Abbey I'm just curious - it's probably been asked and I've missed it, but how old are you?
