This is such a strange answer for him to give you. He wants to meet up or go on another date with you eventually!! If I were you I would not pin my hopes on this being 'the one'. Maybe you liked him more than he liked you. He would not wait almost a month to go on another date if he really liked you.

Abbey, I would suggest that most men are 'sexually' attracted to a lot of women.   The important thing is whoever you consider dating should like you as a person.   Anything less would ring alarm bells for me.  Don't let anyone use you.

Bearded guy seemed genuine to me,didn't try to kiss you (probably a bit nervous ) but hasn't been suggesting  anything more than having a good date  The new guy probably tries to get all his dates to stay over, at his place. Do you know whether he shares his home with others, ..parents, siblings,  mates? and is it a house, or flat ...

It could be awkward finding his mates also living there. I am thinking of your safety.

Will you be asked to do any weekend shifts? I hope you didn't tell Selco you can't do weekends because of commitments with voluntary work at the dogs home. You need to be available to Selco when you are needed.
