Basically I'm meant to be going on a date Thursday but o realised I've double booked, I have an appointment at 4.20 and we are meant to be meeting between 6-6.30. I asked about changing it to Friday but I can't do then.

He doesn't my parents are away remember

He was insisting on staying at yours and even tho you said no  you're still considering meeting him!!?? What guy insists on staying the night with a girl he's never even met! A creep that's what!

Tell him you can't make it, offer a date next week.

Tell him you can't meet up later as you don't know what time you'll finish with prior commitments.

No is a complete sentence and doesn't need any explanation.

Did he really insist or

//Yes he just asked about staying at mine//

Abbey, there's a huge difference between 'insisting' and 'asking', and that will affect the answers you get here!

He shouldn't be asking at all.

Why not? They're not teenagers

Are you kidding me, bednobs?  Jeepers!

Your p'sentence' in your post at 12:24 saying "He doesn't my parents are away remember" doesn't seem to relate to anything anyone has asked.  Sometimes I think you'll post any old meaningless comment just to keep the conversation going. Or you have something on your mind and put it down as a 'thought shower' without thinking 'does this post make sense to anyone but me?'

He hasn't messaged today

"Are you kidding me, bednobs?  Jeepers!"

these are people in their 30s, people who are meeting people online for encounters.  I would imagine a large proportion of them are looking for a shag. what's wrong with scoping out if your potential beau is on the same page?

bednobs, Your imagination is rather more vivid than mine.
