Basically I'm meant to be going on a date Thursday but o realised I've double booked, I have an appointment at 4.20 and we are meant to be meeting between 6-6.30. I asked about changing it to Friday but I can't do then.

Wow!  Are you staying at his overnight??

Abbey, was your last post your way of saying you plan to stay overnight with this very new, met-on-the-internet guy?

Upping the ante for the faithful.

Question Author

Yes he insisted on staying at mine he said we don't have to do anything but still said no

You could always watch TV .........

Abbey, I don't think much of him already for 'insisting' on staying at yours.  Why have you agreed to stay at his? You don't know him.  He might be an absolute creep.  Why can't you just go home to your own house at the end of the night?

Is what you're saying that he wants to stay at your mum and dad's house - in fact insists. Tell him to get lost

Question Author

Yeah I said I got no where for him to stay and he asked if I had a single bed. He messages me first.

So why can't you go home at the end of the evening?

Question Author

That why I'm doing, he insisted on coming back to mine.

Does he know you live with your parents and not on your own?

Abbey DONT stay with him at yours or at his on a first date, and certainly until you get to know him better. You might not be safe, he could be anything as far as you know

He can't insist on anything.  You don't know him and he doesn't know you.  It doesn't matter what he wants.  You do what's best for you - and that isn't spending the night with him.   He doesn't sound nice at all!

Question Author

Yeah I told him my parents are there. I started off with I can't drink as I'm working Friday and he said nor is he as he is driving unless he stays at mine and will drop me to work in the morning.

Please cancel, he is not worthy of your time. Him insisting on anything is a big red flag.

For God's sake, Abby, use a bit of common sense - this guy sounds the absolute pits, so far up his own arss he'll let you down very badly without a whiff of remorse.

Don't go there.

Question Author

I told him no and he still wants to go out

You don't have to drink in excess.  You can have a couple of drinks without it interfering with work the next day and he can stick to alcohol free beer.   I can't imagine why you would even consider staying the night with him.

Question Author

Naomi I didn't said no right away

I'm losing the plot here.  Are you staying overnight with him?
