jelly and blancmange!

Am i dreaming or can you make up a packet of jelly and a packet of blancmange and when cool mix them together to set?

Set the Jelly and then make the blancmange...poor on top of the jelly once it's cooled.

(presuming you have to heat up blancmange)
I would let them cool a bit but be sure to keep stirring the blancmange or it will get a skin and you'll have strange lumpy bits in the mixture when you combine them.

well, a fancy pudding for sundays yeah. We don't have puddings here during the week, if you're still 'ungry after ya tea, you're directed to the biscuit tin (Christmas Family Circle tin no less) where there's a selection of broken bourbons and custard creams bought from market.

BOO - I not only don't we have puddings...we don't have a biscuit tin either. Does that make me a bad Mother?
ooo hang on Mercia, i bought a hat from Oxfam and we decorated that....hang on, i'll find a pic of it (before decoration) and slap it on the relevant thread, so i dont clog up Jaffa's thread.
