You now have two 4 minute eggs, an empty 3 minute timer and a 5 minute timer with 2 minutes left. Turn up the 3 minute timer against the 5 minute timer (with two minutes left) and stop when the 5 (2) timer is finished. You now have two six minute eggs and a minute left in the 3 minute timer, Use this timer to complete the procedure. (They will be very hard-boiled).
Get the water boiling and the eggs on the side.
Start both timers.
When the 3-minute timer runs out, turn it and at the same time put in the 1st egg.
When the 5- minute timer runs out turn it.
When the 3-minute timer runs out again, put in the 2nd egg.
When the 5-minute timer runs out again you're there.
Review of cooking times.
The 5-minute timer ran twice = 10 minutes
The 1st egg went in after 3 minutes and cooked for 7 minutes.
The 2nd egg went in after 6 minutes and cooked for 4 minutes.
