In. Mainly because there are holes for them in the door of the fridge and there is less room in the kitchen itself.
Out, in a bowl on the side.
Out in egg trays.
Out, you gain very little by keeping them in the fridge.
Out. If you are making a cake it is good to have all the ingredients at the same temperature.
Out
Yep. I was told they should always be room temperature.
Out.
Out.
Out - and really I was told you should not keep cheese in a fridge either
In, out, shake em all about. I do keep mine in the fridge in their box but I leave a few out overnight to get to room temp if I using them for brekkie or during the daytime. Same with cheese, kept in the fridge but brought up to room temp before using. This has always suited us. I dont know whats right and whats wrong as there has been so many discussions about these over the years
I usually keep the eggs in the fridge... when it is too warm in the kitchen these can rotten...
Out in the winter and in the larder in the summer - my kitchen is freezing so no need to put them anywhere and in the summer the larder is nice an cool being as it is over 100 years old!
Out
Noticing that I am so in the minority here I googled to see if I was doing something wrong. On the NHS website the advice is
Storing eggs safely helps to make sure the bacteria from the eggs and eggshells do not spread.
Here are some tips to help you store your eggs safely:
•Store eggs in a cool, dry place, ideally in the fridge.
•Store eggs away from other foods. It's a good idea to use your fridge's egg tray, if you have one, because this helps to keep eggs separate.

@grasscarp, they are not in a fridge when you buy them. I buy mine from the local farm shop, where you put them in the boxes yourself and I keep them in their box in the fridge away from other foods
In, otherwise the catz play football with them
The just need to be kept at the same temperature. If you keep them in the kitchen that gets warm and cold. I keep mine in the larder.
If organic they might start pippin in warm temps.
Mine are sometimes in the box (in the fridge) if there are already a few eggs in the door plus the egg holes are also good for half a lemon, a garlic clove and bit of ginger!
