The Final - Great British Bake Off
87 Answers
Well, here we are at the final. And are we surprised at who is still in?
The papers are rife with rumours and hints this morning, so who will it be?
Ruby - the youngster but still unarguably talented
Kimberly - steadily high consistancy and not afraid to flavour
Frances - possibly the most creative baker ever in the series, but seemingly trouble with her "substance"
Let us know what you think.

"You MAY be surprised Ed, Frances is very creative in design and I read that the final showstopper is a Wedding cake, can't wait to see what decoration she comes up with."
Last year the Scottish chap, my favourite, failed because he over-reached on his showstopper. I hope this doesn't happen to Frances, and she gives them all a run for their money!

Ed, I can't say what I saw because it's not there any more - but I only clicked on this thread (to have a moan) BECAUSE I'd seen the poll about GBBO. It's gone now though, just logged out and in again and the satnav poll is on the first page.
I don't get any other poll requests other than when I log in to AB (e.g. nothing comes on email, I'm not sure what AA meant in her OP).

I think Ruby is a very good cook. Unfortunately her incessant whingeing has got on my tits, but nevertheless she remains a great cook. I don't believe she is that low in confidence personally and her modesty strikes me as false rather than genuine - hence the getting fed up of her.
But then I'm not known for my sympathetic disposition ;o)

Thanks for letting me know Boxtops :)
"Gosh Ed, you are not breadmaker Paul Hollywood incognito, are you?"
No, he uses far too much salt. Have you seen his recipes? He wanted to put 6 grams of salt into a normal sized loaf - a madman! Remember that when he says something doesn't taste nice :)
Mary Berry on the other hand can do no wrong - I'd split a bottle of gin with her. Or one each I suppose.
