...for your evening meal?
We're pushing the boat out and having baked beans on toasted cheese and jalapeño bagels, with shaved Parmesan on top, lots of pepper, and brown sauce for those who want it.
pork chops, kidney, chips, onion rings and fried eggs. Not a particularly healthy option, bu MrAC has heavily hinted at this meal through buying me all the ingredients!
Who want healthy when you can have pork chops, etc? Bring it on ;)
Stephen, we're having almost that tomorrow, can't beat a fish finger butty. We will be doing the healthy version and having peas with ours :)

Venison with blueberry sauce, wow, where did you get the recipe from, sounds interesting.
Roast chicken here with a boozy sauce, (sauteed onions, a chicken stock reduced and thickened, a wee bit of drambuie in it.....), along with roasted new Jerseys for the mater, and a wide spread of steam and roasted veg, mainly braised chicory for me, roasted cauli and then steamed baby carrots, French beans and mangetout.
Canyon Ranch (in the US) does one venison with blueberry sauce - served with wild rice, very healthy that it is. They are an equiv of Champneys over here - really good weight-watching cookbooks if you can find them.
The carnivores are having Steak, mushrooms chips and salad with the first lettuce from the garden. I'm having a Linda McCartney Mozzarella Quarter Pounder served on a baked portabello mushroom with sweet potato chips and salad. Washed down with a McGuigan Estate Merlot
