Evening Meal

Due to having had my oven professionally cleaned today, I am never using it again, so tonight we're having a microwave cookable ham and chicken thing from m&s and a load of steamed cauli.
What about you, anything interesting on your menu?

Cooking a curry in a lidded pot isn't going to make your oven dirty, Eth, unless it boils over. Mine's in a big saute pan on the hob.

We have just had a very lazy fish pie with green beans. Bought fish pie mix, sachet of fish pie sauce, I did mash the potato with some grated cheese.
It was ok but not up to homemade, never mind eh?!

I too enjoy these threads for a bit of inspiration. Don't mind shopping and I don't mind cooking but coming up menus drives me loopy!!!

As I've had a cold and sore throat for the last few days, I'm working my way back to normality gradually with the aid of soups.
Tonight its 'covent garden sausage cassoulet'.
Can't help feeling a bit guilty about the new style of packaging, with the plastic cap, that will inevitably end up in the worlds oceans. Think I'll give this product the thumbs down, even if I do like the contents.

As I suspected eth, it is a little fiery (used fresh chillies and diced them myself). But tasty.
And of course, no more black bean tins, lentil tins, nor tins of tomato needing to be used up. Plus there was so much I have a couple more evening meals sorted too.

I always use fresh chillis too OG. I'm seriously going to give this a go, I like doing one pot things which do us two or three times, this looks particularly tasty.
