Air fryers seem to be all the rage now. Have George Foreman grills been relegated to a dusty corner in the kitchen cupboard?

Ha ha, my mother had the egg-cubers. The salesman at the Ideal Home Exhibition must have been fantastic that year.
I used to love my George Foreman grill, bless never being replaced so easy. I still have a quadruple sandwich toaster, which still comes in very handy. as for other stuff mentioned I leave it for those who know what they're doing.
I used my George Foreman a few weeks back to make toasted sandwiches but I've put away now as using toasting bags.
I've got an experimental pan of brownies in my halogen now, and will use it later to heat a large veggie samosa. My stick blender us used for mayo, and when I make crustless quiche/ frittata the cheese, cream and eggs go in there.
My George Foreman got used about 3 times, I still have my spiraliser, but have not used it in about 5 years.
I use my little slow cooker all year round. It's a small one and sits in a corner where it's convenient to use.
Slow cookers are fab! So cheap to buy and run.
We think Air Fryer is badly named. Dave may occasionally spray a little oil on chips but we use it every day and no oil is needed.
Don't think of them as a fryer but a small, cost saving, powerful fan oven.
I've never used a toastie bag.
Thanks for the info, Barrie and Gness.

I’ve used toastie bags, very handy!
The name air "fryer" probably puts many off. I know it did me as I eat very little fried food. But I've now got 3 possibilities on my Amazon wishlist.
I loved slow cookers, Barry. I used two in the UK but they went astray in the move. Dave cooks now and isn't interested it them so I let him get on.
I also used toastie bags when I cooked. They were fine and useful. Dave now has a toastie maker. Pain to clean!
I think it does, Pasta. Folk say to us...well we don't really eat fried food. Neither do we. That's why we bought an Air Fryer! :-)
// toastie bag. //
Is this a body bag for burnt toast?
Similar, Zebo but without the zip. ;-)
Gness, good to know SD's allowed back in the house. I'd have being worried what he were upto out there ;-)
I had to let him in, Arky. Not worried about what he was up to but we were hosting the online new Irish Whiskey tasting session for the group and Dave does the cooking....I'd have left him longer otherwise... :-)
Love my Ninja thingy and my soup maker although I still hold dear to my slow cooker
Smooth, I know you have a loving heart.

Gawd help him ;-)
Yes mine is in the back of the cupboard under the stairs!

I've also got a Breville milky coffee maker. It was a gift from 5 years ago and it's been used once or twice. It has sat so long unused that I hardly notice it anymore.
