does anyone know where I can buy maple sugar, cream and butter from a uk mail order company? I know I can get it straight from Canada and the US but the p and p and customs make this very expensive.

Hello. Well finally my passport photo said fair so Ive sent it off. 15 bloody times I tried. Hija doctored one so my eyes were visable! I was getting quite stressed. I did an online survey and tied them off for various things! Im sure they will tremble in their boots.
I also brought a new pair of thinning scissors, oh the joy. I live the crunch as it goes through the hair but oh what a disaster. Lumps and gaps and oh my lord! But with oil and hard setting gell it looks ok. Hope you are enjoying the heat. My face gets so wet wearing a mask it's awful!

Blimey Neti,that is hot. It's 35C in the back garden atm.
I was parked under the brolly in the shade but have come in now as I can't be bothered to keep moving the brolly round the garden.

I watch travel programs on TV and think how much I'd like to travel again (went to HK, Singapore, Thailand and so on in my youth) then I think of the heat and go no way.

it's going to be a modest 34 here tomorrow, nothing in the 48 range thank goodness. I walked to the PO (about a mile return) and it was quite hot but not intolerable, though I did have a vodka and lime when I returned just in case. Then I fell asleep. The streets are still pretty empty round here and along the high street; just three people in the PO and maybe 50 in Sainsbury's. I was avoiding rush hour, though.

That may have been hot here but wasnt that humid. Its the humidity that's is the problem . The heat is bearable without the sweating!!

Passport posted so alls ok. Got down there at 8.45 and the queue was huge but I sat and shuffled and sat and finally got in! Normal hot day. Met gbf for a coffee and came home!
Sis is having her biopsy today!

Sis is back home
they have taken a biopsy from her cheek and inside her mouth. She has a few stitches and feels rough. so unlike her !

jno jnr rang up yesterday to say he'd just come back from the beach. Turns out it was down in Devon and they'd had to start at 4am, so that shows quite a bit of dedication. Still, it's cooler there than London, so better for anyone infanticipating.

Good day. Overcast and coolish! Nail girl came up so nails are now manageable! She was asking for the cheapest shop for king size bedding! So I gave her my pink white and purple set complete with purple fitted sheets and pillow cases. She was delighted and I'll never use them again!
Sis is ok but mouth rather sore.

Glad your sis is feeling better KBO all. I am doing a silly dance here. I have got an ocado order for september 1 which is the first day you can have M and S stuff. I know its silly and childish but my nearest one is a 30 minute drive away plus time to shop and for a long time before covid that had been too long for Shughy to be in the car.
