Don't remember Pips... How about Blackjacks, Parma Violets, Sherbert Dips, Penny Arrow Bars, Spanish Gold, Caramac, Lucky Bags to name a few. I don't have a sweet tooth at all now. From the sounds of that list it's a miracle I've got ANY teeth now!
pips were around,,,,about the early to mid eightys,,,,tiny little ball things you could buy them in quarters,and shove,,,about a 100 at a time,,,,,,,,,,also cola cubes,,,,bonbons,pear drops,,,,,,starbars,,,,,,curley wurleys
Mine were pips too! I'm not sure if they were called Tom Thumb pips or something, but always bought a quarter along with jaffa oranges and aussie apples.
I remember pips !! and so does my aunty coz i dropped a quarter of them all in her new cream shag-pile carpet when i was 7. We sat there for about two hours picking them out and the carpet went pick from the colouring. My fave is sweet peanuts.
