In the way of accompaniments (I assume you're going to serve the dogs on buns?) then mustard, relish and some fools actually eat catsup on dogs... yecch! Sauerkraut goes well... If you mean as side dishes, here in the U.S. the old standby would be a good potato salad or perhaps cole slaw and what we call potato chips. Keeping it simple will help you survive the crush of that many folks... good luck!
Can't go wrong with those dried onions sprinkled on top.

Also how about a slice of smokey streaked bacon atop the sausage?

Awww cmon jack ... thought you would of had a more adventurous thought on food? anyone else think of "different " accompaniments ...
I like my food quite basic PatH.

How about then,

Some very thinly sliced pineapple with even thinner sliced apple and some warmed macadamier nuts and a hot and sour sauce.

Patricia - I like mine with mayo and chopped onion. A lot of people like them with chili and coleslaw and French's Yellow Mustard and pickle relish. Even sliced avocado, lettuce, tomato, cucumber. There is no limit to the different toppings we will use on them here in the USA - but I will post links to two of our most famous hot dog places menu's so you can see them:
