Creamola Foam - Anyone else miss it ???
255 Answers
Does anyone else miss Creamola Foam as much as me ? It was discontinued in 1998 due to " the high cost of production and low level of sales " ( so say nestle ) but i'm interested to know if people DO still like this drink and would welcome the return of it.

It turns out that you're best bet is to call Brands Partnership on 01132

Rosie Guenzel was the best person to speak to about this. She may be able to tell
you whether Brands Partnership have the recipe or not. etc..
Or email her:
rosie.guenzel AT brandpartnership DOT co DOT uk
I've spread the word around a few websites.
Two websites of use are creamolafoam.co.uk and cremolafoam.co.uk

Yeah , I miss it !!
A few years ago , when it was manufactured or distributed locally to me in Glossop , I contacted the firm (not sure if it was Nestle by then or not) ,to ask where I could buy it , I told 'em my kids were boo-hooing 'cos they could'nt get it . I lied ! I ain't got no kids it was for me !!
Anyroadup , a few days later while I was at work , a rep called at my house and left my missus with a case of 24 mixed flavor cans ,free gratis , and for nowt ! . "So the kids can be kept quiet ".
Our lass figured out what I'd prob'ly done and went along with the tale . I only last year gave the last can away as it had solidified and gone "foosty". Mind you , the nanny-state health nazi's would interfere with it and it would in all probability be an adulterated low- sugar version if it ever came back . Or worse , a sugar-free version ! EURRRGGHHH!! Then again if they can sell "Diet Choke" and all that crap , it'll maybe succeed .

I was in the kitchen and having a fizzy drink - then into my head came the thought of cremola foam - I and my family absolutely loved it. my children are 16,15,13,12, and still talk about it. I just thought that it wasn't sold here in Northern Ireland anymore and didn't realise that it had been totally withdrawn form sale. we miss it so much.

Yes Craigy. I am from Scotland too and thank goodness someone else remembers the cola one. I thought that I was going mad and must have been dillusional because everyone I have mentioned it to has looked at me as if I should be taking a wee nap in a dark room ! I think that it was just a limited edition though because towards the latter end of Creamola Foam's production , I only remember orange and raspberry being in circulation. Damn shame because cola was magic. Mmmmmmmmm.
Oh and couldn't help notice that you are a 'greenie' so welcome to AB. It can be quite addictive on here at times. As long as your neighbours are not counting long lines of empty milk bottles on your doorstep , then you should be fine ! Enjoy x

Funny!! I was born and brought up in Aberdeen, Scotland and grew up with Cremola foam in all it glory. Had to leave Aberdeen to find work and settled in England. Couldn't find cremola foam in the 1970s to introduce to my children, so I thought that it had disappeared in the 60s. I emigrated to Australia in 90s with my second wife and often mentioned Cremola Foam to her. Recently, New Year 2007, caught up with my cousin on her return flight from New Zealand on her way back to UK and I mentioned it was such a beautifully hot day (35C) that it was a great Cremola Foam day. She said she had thought about Cremola Foam only a few days before. It seems to be in the minds of Scottish people everywhere.
Ah yes Creamola Foam. I was brought up on it and my 3 sons were brought up on it too. The thoughts of a hot summers day and chilled water from the fridge, then heaped spoonfuls of Creamola Foam into that. Oh i`m drooling already!!!! By the way I was trying to get info from the internet about Creamola Foam and read somewhere about a german company making it. I was wondering if LIDLS, the german supermarkets, could be selling it? Hope somebody brings it back.
Too long a thread to read all the comments, but there was an article perhaps just under a year ago where the company who now 'own' it had to admit they no longer posessed the reipe. Between all the mergers and splits it had simply got lost. One woman had approached them with an aged sealed tin and they were going to look into whether it could be reverse engineered at all.
