Creamola Foam - Anyone else miss it ???

Does anyone else miss Creamola Foam as much as me ? It was discontinued in 1998 due to " the high cost of production and low level of sales " ( so say nestle ) but i'm interested to know if people DO still like this drink and would welcome the return of it.

Yes I sadly miss that stuff too I must admit I was a raspberry fan myself never mind the drink dip your finger in and lick it of mmm mmmmmm oh to have it back and what is worse is that most of Bournemouth have never heard of it when I asked people about Creamola Foam they looked at me if I was a freak how sad

I haven't trawled through all the posts,but I share your memories,and would love my kids to enjoy it too.I looked around for info a while back and came across a website which featured long lost sweets,drinks etc. on that site it was mentioned that a company in Germany was making something VERY similar to Foam,and that it could be ordered online.That's all I can remember.

I absolutely love creamola foam and have been researching this, when the creamola custurd company sold the formulations to Nestle they lost the creamola foam recipe.  They stated that is was not a priority then and isn't know as they were only interested in the custurd. I urge if anyone worked in the factory, knows anything about the recipe, or has an old tin in their cupboard come forward.  This drink was the best thing since slice bread despite a professor Alan Wison of Strathclyde University saying it would not to well in the market nowadays.  I think Creamola foam would be a juge sucess and am now bicoting Nestle until it's return!  see www.masshibsteria.com for quotes from the company on what happened to the drink.

I am shocked by what i am reading here. All these people that ate CF straight from the tub? Why did no one point this out to me? Why did I miss out on this pleasure? It seems so obvious now.

I do have a little picture in my head (must be 25 years old now), of a picture of a boy and girl on the tin, with some bubbles round them, am I right?

I absolutely loved this as a kid - the wee tin and you could make it yourself without parents - it made an alternative to milky drinks like nesquik - it was pure dead brilliant - if I had known they were gonna take it off the shelves I would have said - gonnae no dae that!!!

I miss it!! very much & would love to find someone making it again.

Also, I have a special memory as I won a Creamola Foam beach ball when I was little in a competition on top of the tin - the only thing I can ever remember winning!

I was asked in an e-mail recently what my favourite drink is and, after a bit of thought, I replied rasberry Creamola Foam - closely followed by orange Creamola Foam.  I love the stuff and after a decade or more without it, found some in Safeway about 6 years ago just before it went out of production.  I swear it's addictive and I couldn't stop drinking it for weeks, 2 or 3 pints at a time!!  Like most others on this web page the memories of childhood summers came flooding back with the smell and taste of it.

I'm all for signing a petition to get it reintroduced and with good marketing I think it would be hit.  It's miles better than Bru!!!

me and my brother both loved creamola foam when we were kids,i remember raspberry & lemon and i'm sure there was a cola one that was in a brown tin,was great especially with ice cream in it! we should start some kind of demo bring back creamola foam!!!!

hey guys, the weirdest thing happened last night. I actually dreamt about creamola foam and that I could get it from liddel!! I fear this part of my dream may not come true so I decided to look on the net and I found you all. Creamola foam was the best, and always will be the best, drink ever in the world. what we need is a big advertising campaign and the drink will soon be back on our supermarket shelves, because nothing can ever be better!!! eating it from the tub was also a great favourite of mine.

i work in a shop and the odd customer asks for it (creamola foam) now and again and every1 that works with me loved creamola foam. i thought maybe i could buy it on the net somewhere, was gonna surprise a lot of my friends with a tub of it for christmas but no such luck. i say if this product came back on the market it would have escalating sales not to mention very happy customers... we all love creamola foam .... please bring it back!!!!!
