I don't know, but if it looks like sh!t, smells like sh!t and tastes like sh!t, it's probably a Bernard Mathews product.

Unless it's the latest form of genetically altered animal to come out Chateau Bernard Mathews, I would guess it's all the MRM (Mechanically Recovered Meat) from the turkey and pig carcasses.

This is probably moulded together with a load of water and emulsifiers and sold as the stuff Chillum so accurately describes.

The residue is then sold as 'twizzles' (or something like that) for school dinners, allegedly.

(Just saw that article in the Guardian today - 21% FAT and banned in Scotland!)

I agree with Chillum, and In a Pickle I think you are right - it is mashed up turkey gobbly bits, toenails and eye balls and stuff, but there's no ham in it.
