am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

thanks for that woofgang, I hope things work out for curvybird; her husband sounds like a fool, but fools can grow up sometimes.

Just staggering in from a Roxy Music concert - very enjoyable, even though we were seated at about 12,000ft with light aircraft flying below us. I now find they're following us down under and will be playing in the same town as us again in a month.

I hope nobody's been accusing me of being involved in assassinating Kennedy while I was out? Really, there are some clots on this site. Anyway, thank you everyone for standing up for my honour, I appreciate it.
Ooooh you've been shaking on down to Virginia Plain Jno ? Well ..I'm just a jealous guy :) I love Roxy Music . Was that at the O2 arena ?
Last time I went to a concert in London it was at the Olympia and Rod Stewart was a speck in the distance .I don't think these days I could sit at that height let alone climb up there . I get dizzy on a stepladder :)
Scores on the doors 25 Jude .
Night folks ,sleep well .
25...Shaney...have you been chugging the smart juice again????
Cold foggy and frosty here this morning but no blooming wind which is a bonus.

God morning everybody!

Hope today finds you all well(ish) and happy.

a couple of times we booked "up in the gods" seats in theatres, but I hate heights and used to cry and shake, was awful so my sister told the manager that i was disturbing all the good folk and they used to move me to really good seats in the stalls. But then we decided to actually book the good seats to start with, which is much better all round.

Had an email from Oz and they are fine, the niece was only in danger if the winds changed which luckily they didn't. Bro is back in his house today, he was one of the lucky ones.
Oooooh, jno lucky you. I have seen Brian Ferry in recent years. He did a picnic concert in Thetford Forest. I love those picnic concerts, I can push my way to the front of the stage and bop around and pretend I am 20 again. One of the best ones was The Pretenders - a very small event in the grounds of a local residence. I went on my own, having had an argument with Mr LL and thoroughly enjoyed myself.

Swedie. I really did laugh imagining that Darn Cat!! Bless his little furry paws.

Beautiful day, I am orf for a walkies at some point. Cloudless blue skies and NO WIND!! Ribs are improving ( I think)

Ok Ok, own up, which one of us was it (handbag was mentioned.......)

http://www.dailymail....ng-thugs-handbag.html
fortunately we took binoculars! yes, they were rather specks in the distance otherwise. It was much the same when we went to see the Stones at Twickenham a few years back, but they had a mobile stage that chugged down the other end of the field for a while so everyone could see them, plus huge film screens on which they were reprojected about 50ft high. Bryan Ferry kept vanishing behind the keyboards - at least we could see him from above but I don't know if people on the ground floor could. Anyway, it was all very enjoyable.
Morning Everybiddy, Lovely morning if a bit frosty when I got up. Washing out and I'm off to Tai Chi for some relaxation. What a brave biddy to frighten off the thugs. Would I have the nerve I ask myself.
25..............!!!!How do you do it Shaney. Brilliant. I'm happy if I make it to about 10 but that's not happened lately but I'll keep trying.
Have a good day all - see yer later 'gater(s)
Bordid...well the good news is the weather, beautiful blue skies, crisp, sunny....and YES, no wind.

My turn to grumble today, this is a mizmog alert, (haha, and yes Jude tomoz is ok, I like funny, snyggy words. If one speaks poshe, that's fine, I love proper poshe if it's the way one was brought up, but not some of these modernisms. I agree with hon by the way, but you already knew that)

The bad news is...well lots of things. I woke up at 5 feeling like death (barely) warmed up, my body aches so much from coughing...lay there 'til 7 & heard Charlie crying downstairs...flew(?) down to find him in the middle of one of his falling/cramping episodes, poor little chap it scares him. So I had to sit on the floor with him half an hour until it passed. He's ok & happy now but this one has left him very wobbly again. Oh & he'd wee'd in his bed so I had to sort that....Went outside to empty the bucket of water I'd used, drain was full of leaves & started picking them out & they moved...there was a huge frog under them!...hahaha...that woke me up. I thought about you neti. :o)
Banging started next door at 8.15 ...they had a problem with water again & were going to be using my outside tap but it's all been sorted.

But don't worry 'bout me, just say one for Charlie please, I could no more go to the vets today than fly to the moon.

Robi and Charlie, I think you are the two that I worry about the most (not including mr w and mr s of course). You need some meat on yer bones and just want to give charlie a big hug, he is so sweet (although if I called round I would probably be terrified of him!)

Anyone watch "Marchlands"? I've downloaded it so want to know if it's any good!
wometimes I wonder why people go to all the trouble of acquring husbands and pets that are just going to spend all their time being ill. I much prefer devoting all my energies to my own ailments, thank you. Beulah, peel me a grape.
hello hello hello, what have we here?

http://www.theanswerb...k/Question986426.html

another flouncette from IaP? I wonder what prompted suspension?
Oh I'll be ok neti...oh booger, my nose just dripped on me keyboard, hahaha..I'm very much 'I vant to be alone' when I'm ill anyway.
As much as I love having pets I won't be taking on anymore jno...in fact I have thought that Chas might outlive me
Oh drat 'n darn, I've missed his exit and only yesteday I was thinking...'it wont be long now....'

am begining to get quite fond of ole gherkin!! he certainly livens the place up!
Robina, a bit Lottie type prayer for Charlie. Sounds very much like epilepsy or mini strokes. I had a cat that had a similar problem. And you, young lady, look after yourself. Wish you were nearer. A cuppa and a good laugh would be good for us both.

I still haven't been on my walk. Got caught up doing things and chatting on AB.

...and there it is, gone already. (The I-link.) No idea jno. Lol @ your Kennedy assassination involvement ha ha ha ha! Ooops I didn't stand up for you... but I never got to see what R. actually said so it's a bit difficult. I'll stand up for anybiddy if I'm around before everything gets zapped though. I've got a handbag full of cat food, good swing.

Another expedition planned for today, all I do I bring cat food home and clean the place. Not complaining, I'm grateful for the way things turned out, but boy could my body use a day at the spa. Actually there is one not too far from here... http://www.yasuragi.se/

That is absolutely hilarious Neti. I am convinced it's Terry Jones from Monty Python. It reminded me of this photo by Hans Runesson, from a nazi march in a small Swedish town in 1985.

Robi Zingo and I are thinking of Charlie and you xxxxx
well the fall of Invictus has been my uplift, I've laughed so much my chest hurts. Good to see Spare Ed's taken it in good humour. Loved jno's quip about turning into a man, hahaha

Lottie I think he may well have mini strokes along with his vestibular disease etc...poor little chap keeps on wagging his tail though.

The spa looks lovely Kit...I don't like to be tooo quiet though, as in silent. And I wouldn't want a strict regime to have to stick to either. Oh and don't massage me too hard either, it hurts there...and there.... :o)
