am going to use one tonight for chicken, can I put the potatoes in with the chicken and will they brown, cos if I have to put them in seperately it's not worth using the bag!

It's oh so quiet...they boogered off at 4
It wasn't the best of days, I was battling a queasy headache 'til 3 o'clock...good thing it didn't turn into a blinding migraine cos Tarquin came & sorted out a good internet/phone deal. There's nothing like threatening to leave a provider for making them generous....virtually hanging onto my ankles they were, haha. He cleared my cache too which has speeded some things up, but tinypic's still hit & miss... please carry on using it Kit, I get there eventually.
Oh & he sorted out a speaker on my dvd player...where would we be without these techno whizzkids?
Glad you enjoyed your visitors shaney...now stuff your face & get some rest!
What a lovely collie Jude, my brother's wife had one when they got married. He was huge & bro really loved him...I think that was why he married her :o)...and it turned out the dog was the more faithful one.

Jeez Shaney I wouldn't have the first idea how to be a hostess to 28 people. Hardly 8 even, to be honest. Good to see you. I'm wearing your socks right now, the tomato red striped ones:)
Okidokey Robi I'll use TinyPic if it works for you most of the time. What you can do, when it doesn't, is you can copy the TinyPic url of the wilful image and paste that into the upload field over at ImageShack, after first having ticked the url box. It works, that's what I did the other day with the "my new man" photo you couldn't view.
Your Lassie Collie was beautiful Jude. Cesar likes Lassie too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq4qfcrOYhg

Not a great doctor appointment but not bad...loads of we don't know, can't predict...apparently DH is doing better than expected which throws out their predictions.
They seem to think that the thing will progress slowly so they have time to sort out the best way forward which won't make him iller......sorry can't feel positive tonight.

Morning all.
Hi woofy, poor you and mr woofy, must be worrying, thinking about the future, <<hugs>>
Have to do battle again with my mobile phone operator as they have me on the wrong tariff and they took 3€ when they beggared me about which they said they would repay. No good threatening to leave telephone companies or broadband here cos they just laugh and up the ante, as we don't have so much choice.
poor Robi, your poor head with all that banging, there's no end to it all is there.
Hi swedie, no I don't think for one moment that mousey is cold, as she plays and sleeps and is just getting on a bit, she loves Mr N but it is me that she loves to cuddle up with. She behaved last night. Only went out for half and hour and then slept on my legs all night. My hip is killing me, as I don't like to move when she is there, cos she'll start roaming again.

Morning all...keep your chin up woofy, I know it's hard to be positive but try not to be despondent. A friend just called & it's looking like her elderly mother has breast cancer. :o(
Builders have just arrived & there's tolerable banging...Chas is fast asleep so I'm going to toddle out to do one or two things.
Gung ho chop suey ....or wateva
(It's Chinese New year)

Good morning. Lost my internet last night. Our bloody broadband cuts out sometimes when the normal phone rings and I can't get it back until the next day. I shall now take the phone of the hook when I am on here. (On second thoughts I better not).
Chin up Woofy!! Thinking of you. It's nice that both Mr W and yourself are keeping your heads and keeping active, and it's lovely that he gets out and about with his mates. Life is tough though isn't it?
I do enjoy all the animal pictures.
The most cats I have ever had in the house has been 6. It just happened. Two went to live with Master LL when he moved out and then it dwindled until we had just one. I would still like some more but Alice really is my baby and terribly spoiled. She is always with me and I know another cat would put her nose out of joint.
I would also like another dog, but Megan is fine on her own and really doesn't like doggy company. I am thinking of encouraging Master and Miss LL to get a little dog and offering to be a dogminder while they are at work!! We'll see.
It was lovely here first thing this morning when I woke up - then I went back to sleep again and it is dull. Had a horrid night, my hip ached. I disturbed it the other day when I went on my Everest climb in the fields.
I'll be back later internet permitting. Have some jobs to do. Just going to have a quick flick around the site first.
Ooooh, and hello again Shaney. You must be exhausted. Don't forget about the Italian. I am just waiting for you to say the word!!!

me too, it would look wayyyyy better on me.
Does anyone watch Dr Who. I saw the David Tennant/Catherine Tate one the other day where they were on a snowy planet with creatures called Oud. Catherine Tate had the most ravishing sheepskin coat...you need a small bum though, if I had one it would look like I had put it on with the sheep still in it.
can't find a picture :-(

sorry for the selfish posting folks and thanks for the support. Shaney it sounds like a busy time for you..but a good one, get some rest now. Robi I know about the axeman feeling.
When we were considering dog breeds, we looked at standard poodles but ticks are an issue and its easier to deal with them on smooth coated dogs...they are originally a hunt point retrieve breed too.
The problem with Dh's position is that he is so well in himself....stupid I know. The regrowth including the new bits are really tiny and the evidence is that the growth and spread rate are slow. The normal expectation is that he would be iller then there would be urgency to treat...because of his kidney treatment is a risky business till he can have dialysis....and in the middle of it there he is doing well and improving (huge touching wood)
oooo I deal really badly with uncertainty. We'll get there, we need to get back to equilibrium and put this thing back in its box and get on with life.
okay rant over I have cleaning to do. We have an old friend coming tomorrow to go out to a seafarer's dinner with DH.

Yes woofy I know what you mean, I hate grey areas...I like things in black or white, I might not like it but I know what I'm dealing with. The problem with illness though is there's almost always some grey & it's so tough if decisions have to be made. I hope you find that equilibrium very soon...and I didn't see any selfish posts, so behave :o)
The only thing Macpoodle hunted & retrieved (apart from a ball, he'd play that all day) was people's shopping...he was a terror, he'd have his head in their bags as soon as they stood still :o)

I didn't see a selfish post either Robi!! Meggie has her head in the bags as soon as I bring any shopping in, looking for a new ball or squeaky. I am the silly, soft fool that buys them for her on regular occasions!!
Been for another nice walk and you can actually feel some warmth in the sun and even the wind has lost its icy bite!!

that's hardly a rant, woofgang... after all AB has just been flounced by a cyberbully who could rant for England <tries to look sorrowful> and beside her you look like a Samaritan. I know, tiny problems, growing real slow, but you still want somebody to stop them right now. It must be very frustrating, but it's not bad news as such, just something that offers no prospect of closure in the near future.
