We are looking to buying a Blender. Ideally, a stainless steel base and glass jug.

Argos has available a 'Cookware Signature' which could meet our requirements, but we have never previously come across the manufacturer's name.

Consequently we would wish to have a few comments from ABers on the matter.

DT...I always endeavour to avoid having cross words with folk ..be they fans of mine or not. However I did appreciate your contribution which unfortunately was something of a late posting. :-)

Thanks all the same........Ron.
enjoy your machine - one of the things re soups I ahve always used in conjunction with a liquidiser is a french 'mouli'.........that gets the best juices out of the 'fibre' - esp for soups/sauces - and its a useful back up sieve....

Hi folks......Our chinese Brenda arrived yesterday and looks a good solid item. Everything seems o.k. and we have given it a very quick 'twirl' to make sure the motor works. We plan to make cream of mushroom soup during the coming week.

Thanks all for your contributions to our thread.

Viv & Ron.
