Have you been taking idea's from Gillian McKeith Mr Sp. Ed?

My favourite soup is broccoli and stilton with croutons and its quite easy to make.
my fave winter soup recipe... 1 large leek, 3 medium size carriots, a large peice of pumpkin/buttersquash, 4 medium size spuds(any variety), plus a generous handful of lentils and brown rice. saute the lot except the greens of the leeks in a large pot, add 3 pints water, or stock, 2 tsps marmite(optional), boil, simmer, when carrots are soft, add large handful of fresh or frozen spinach, turn off heat/gas, put lid on. and leave for 1/2 hr, might need to add more water, as i can be quite thick. enjoy. better of course the next day.add salt and black pepper.
I'm having Chicken, mash, roast and veg.

Can't really be bothered to cook it now though as I've already cooked it once today already.
oh i'm hungry now and have no idea what to have
Dris 1 Onion Chopped, Mushrooms chopped, Chilli Powder (to taste), 1 x 400grm Can Red Kidney Beans (drained and rinsed), 1 x 400grm Baked Beans, 1 x 400grm Can Chopped tomatoes, 1 Red Pepper, A Handful or two of Pasta, One stock cube

Gently fry the onion and mushrooms until softened. Place all the ingredients, except the pasta, into a deep saucepan. Make up liquid using stock cube and approx 3 pints warm water. Simmer for 20 minutes then add the pasta and simmer for a further 10 minutes. If needs be top up with water

Enjoy!
