the casserole sounds good - will try and get out later as it has been very icy around here but provisions and wine needed.....beetroot soup sounds good to - ot maybe a French Onion, (with lots of toasted croutons and cheese)......thought about making a carb fest with tagliattelle, onions, bacon, leeks and baby toms in it, plus a hadful of italian pasta and a few good grinds of pepper...
leeks on offer in aldi this week (one of their 49p super 6) so bought 4 lots of them and have made delia smiths leek and potato soup. oh yum, sooo tasty and warming. had it with toasted potato cakes smothered in lurpack. going to have a bash at some sort of carrot soup tomorrow as they too are in the super 6 and i've bought loads of them.
