I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Robinia goes over us each day with her feather duster just to make sure we're all awake :) xxx

Morning all
Bit foggy and chilly. Doesn't seem like five minutes since I went to bed .
See you later.
Morning all. Just read Dolly's post so Hi Dolly good to hear from you. Enjoy your Barby. Take care. x
Eating my breakfast, not showered yet and off to Fuschias at 10. so I'll catch you all later. Have a good day...
Morning all...grey and damp

haha, I know that feeling shaney...it's the same during the day, no sooner have you opened the curtains and it's time to close them again, day over.

Hi Dolly...glad you made it this time. I don't know about feather duster, sometimes this lot need a stick of dynamite to wake 'em up during the day...they've all gone nocturnal! :) I hope you're coping. I've decided to put all my problems in a box at the bottom of the wardrobe in the spare room...with the bed pushed up against it.

Anyone know how to join QVC? It won't let me create an account without a pin number...but you don't have a pin number until you've got an account...??! Probably easier to phone...or not bother at all.
And btw, where were you all when I needed the heimlich doo-dah last night? Got a piece of chs on tst stuck, I was so annoyed 'cos it was slice 1 of 2...it really scratched my throat but, ever the trooper, I grimaced my way through the second slice. :)
brilliant, you could have cleared my sinuses at the same time.
:)
Robi, you make up your own pin, they don't send you one.
Both boys were restless again last night so we ended up kipping on the settees. I feel like I am running a home for disturbed dogs here. We are all quite sleepy today.
d'oh, thanks woofy, it doesn't tell you to choose a pin...tut
I keep losing my internet connection, grrrr, so I'm not going to bother now.
Good afternoon. What a very lazy day.

I got up at 7.15, went back to bed at 9.15 when Mr LL got up. Woke up at 12.50pm and went downstairs to find Mr LL still in dressing gown watching Time Team!! Mind you, the weather is grey and grim, so perhaps we have just been sensible. He has now taken Meggie out for her Morning Walk.

Now going to read through your news!!

xx
Hello Dolly. Nice to see you

Woofy, I would like to add (for anybody who might read this thread!) that our pets rule our lives completely. But for the enjoyment they bring, so what. That's our choice.

Better go and have a shower......................
Robi. Glad you are still with us today!! Beware cheese on toast.

How strange, I posted earlier this am, and it is not here, weird!

Tired out, went to a school's xmas fete, so boring, and nothing I wanted so ended up with some bath stuff, make your own xmas labels, bottle of oz wine and a useful set of 3 notepads and pen. But I did go to the co-op and get 2 tines of q street for £9, so will take the sweets out of the tins and take back home where we pay 15€ a tin!!!

Having sticky ribs for dinner, so am now resting!
Hi all, scares me to death when I choke on anything. Pleased you enjoyed your toast in the end Robi and you're ok!! I agree with you both Woofy and Lottie about your pets. I know they can be good company, and loyal. So why not!!
It's half time in the footie and The Rams are losing to Crystal Palace 0 - 1.
Lets hope they do better in the second half.
Yes it's nearly curtains shut lights on time - but the shortest day will be here in about 36 days wont it :)

Hoping to watch Merlin tonight I love that programme. Don't ask me why! It just appeals to me. Mind you, a few years ago I read all the Harry Potter Books.
Hope you all have a good evening relaxing in the warm.
See yer later 'gater(s)
Robi I missed your near death experience...I hope you are feeling better now. I have an all day headache again, maybe I've caught your sinusses?
haha, death by chs on tst wouldn't be very glamorous would it? And no Merlin here to bring me back to life :) I love it too Jude.
It's going to be soft stuff for tea, my throat's still sore.
I wished I liked Merlin, or Harry Potter etc. But I can't get into anything mythical or magical or not true to life. I watched Lord of the Rings but purely because of the guy who played Aragon.

An early oight oight from me! x
