London Museum

I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Lottie I'll let you know if I'm ever selling the table! :) I honestly thought it wouldn't be worth more than junk shop value. I'm not going near it with any paint now, that's for sure...and I was going to have the casters removed (and put on my feet, lol), they make it a bit high, your dinner's under ya chin...Still, it saves wearing a dicky bib, I'll have to find higher chairs.

That video was better for me because when I first saw it there was no title or script & it was too early in the day for me to work it out...I gasped when the cubs appeared :)
I've got a mixture of old and new including my mum's (now revamped) lloyd loom style ottoman...I keep my handbags in it...well, some of 'em :)

Just filled two bags for the Air Ambulance charity shop so the day's not been a total washout.

Back for 2hr rest before we see Julian. I have bought a jacket and trousers for £20 from Tesco and a glittery top to wear tonight. We had a dazzling sunset, awful couldn't see the car in front. Am eating the crus tof an English looaf with butter, devine, we are eating at a thai restaurant tonight before the show!

Also have got the box for the shipping shopping, it is huge!!

Must go and put my feet up!

shippingshopping, ha ha, no eating peanuts when you say that. Have just got the second coat of paint on the underside of the table and the other drawer, only the table and chest of drawers tops left to do. Have had two callers toady wanting me to take the govt up on the loft insulation scheme which I don't need. Don't mind them calling , we all have to earn a living, but when I say no thank you politely I expect them to say okay and go, NOT carry on wittering. Both times I have said (still politely) "goodbye I am shutting the door now" with the dogs kicking off in the living room and both times I got the hurt incredulous face. Well get used to it boys.......
