I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Hi all just another quick visit to say oight oight. What a wet day. I managed topark right in front of the hairdressers so I didn't get too wet. When I got in there I felt awful cos the lighting showed my wrinkles up something rotten. Never mind I'd rather see them than not be able to. I'll get used to it. Everything is so bright. I went to school afterwards. I wont be going again until a week on Monday as I'm going South on Friday until Wednesday and I'm looking forward to the rest from hospital appointments and to doing some Christmas shopping.
Tomorrow is my last wrist class. Then after that I'm off to Nottingham with my walking friend to listen to some music in the Theatre royal in the circle Bar. I think I've told you about it before. I don't know who's on but it will definitely be relaxing.
Loved that Video. Animals are so intelligent aren't then. And look at the mum watching for her cubs. Brilliant. I did received the email Woofy.
Off to watch the second half of the football match now. Have a goodnight all.See yer later 'gater(s)
Robi I dont resent you, I re-sent the email
oight oight all, busy next couple of weeks as sis will be here.
Good morning. I have just been naughty on an AB thread!! Couldn't resist it!!
Just caught up with you all. Hope you enjoyed the show Neti. Am just going to check for Woofy's email

Love LiftyBlotty!!
Woofy, I received your email, but not had one from Dolly. The animals are beautiful. Also I found your other email to me for which I thank you. I think t he trip may be made next autumn now as I have now booked the Rhine/Moselle Cruise for June and will be saving our pennies in April!!

Morning all
Was sunny ,now dull.
Lol Lifty ...naughty girl .Twenty three quid for a bottle of plonk ? I can get two bottles of scotch for that :)
I am doing what I do best, talking to myself ;o)
Whoops!!! Someone heard me. Morning Shaney. I am alcohol free these days - it doesn't seem to agree with me at all any more :o( xx
morning all here, its a lovely day here but very windy.
Shaney i meant did anyone have Dolly's email address as I don't seem to.
Lottie I begin to think that being naughty is what AB is for....which thread?
Food and Drink Woofy. Our favourite person!
lol Lottie.
A'noon all...well, that blewed the cobwebs off, I've had a sweep and a snip outside. It's mild but very breezy, bloomin pile of leaves kept blowing back down the garden. I hope no one was watching me, I've turned into Mrs Brown, I walk round mumbling and cussing to myself all day. :).

Good job you corrected yourself woofy, I was just about to unravel your poppy :) Thanks for the email, I'd seen them before but they made me smile again.

Crikey Blottie, all things considered that's mild...I'd get 10 bottles of Lambrusco and a big box of Maltesers :). I can't be doing with wine (or food) snobbery, you like what you like. I've had expensive wine and really not liked it.

Enjoy yourself Jude, you can conduct the orchestra again now.
lol Robi, I didn't realise till I had pressed submit and read what I had posted.
Thanks Robi really ready to go now. Just got to finish packing a few bits like yer do.
Had a lovely day today in Nottingham. There was great trio on called The Sterling Trio. Clarinet, Flute and Piano. A really pleasant hour listening to a variety of music superbly played. It was that good I bought a CD.
Then had a very good lunch in Bistro Pierre. Sea Trout with Boulliabaise (can't spell it) sauce then a fruit crumble with ginger ice cream loverly!!
When we came out we nearly blew away. Very strong winds and since I've been home the rain has battered my windows so I'm glad I'm in the warm.
Have to iron now so I'll see you all next week. I hope you have good weekend and the weather calms down a bit. I think it's still going to be wet where I'm going.
Oight oight Biddy friends everywhere. See yer later 'gater(s) x
back from very blustery Oxfordshire. We went for a drink at the Pitchfork and Human Sacrifice pub down the road, then came back for a nice home-cooked moussaka, toured the estate (a very large back garden), admired the thatched roof etc. So this is country living, eh? Not bad, I can see why biddies like it.

Have a lovely time Jude .I hope you do get some nice weather .
Pitchfork and Human Sacrifice Jno ..whatever were they serving ..spit roasted witches on toast and blood shandy :)
Sounds like a lovely place though .

I've been naughty now .It's hanging about with flofty blitto that does it :)
Ha, ha Shaney. Naughty girl you!!

Happy times Jude and glad you enjoyed your country outing today jno.

It's blowing a gooley here!!!

Oh ha, ha that was a genuine typing error ^.

I, of course, meant blowing a hooley. Oh dear, better go.

Oight, oight Biddies.
hello all, its blowing both goolies here and Shughy has decided its too noisy to sleep upstairs..actually he's not wrong, hadn't noticed before how much quieter storms are downstairs than upstairs. I will wait till it passes and then we'll all go back to bed. Sis has arrived safely, we had turkey stew in honour of Thanksgiving. She travels through Oxford on the way here, she phoned me and said it was very windy, but then Oxford always is, it used to be murder getting through the lock there because of the crosswinds, I have seen boats go in sideways to much laughter and applause.
