I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Remember the hypnotist who fancied me this summer, well here he is, if he gets anymore famous I'll have to divorce Mr N!!!! (not!)
You've been very busy mrs thriftibiza...you'll be needing minions after all this gallivanting. I wouldn't want a man who could hypnotise me, I'd like it to be the other way round.
well it was to get rid of my fear of spiders, I think I've hypnotised him, wouldn't leave me alone, whenever he asked me out I was very diplomatic and said Oh Mr N can't make it that day and after a few times he stopped asking. Oh my fatal attraction, I ask you!! (and here I sit with a huge belly, no bra, baggy trackies, chomping on imperial mints) what a vision of loveliness!!
Am actually looking forward to going back to Ibiza, but it's rainy and thundering there also!

I think I've been hypnotised into zombie mode lately .I need a rocket up somewhere :)
Just watched Last Tango in Halifax .It's very good .
Britain on Film was good tonight too.Sixties fashions .They showed a clip of Mr Teasey Weasey and all sorts of weird and wonderful hairstyles and clothes and Vidal Sassoon doing those lovely sharp haircuts .
Oight Oight .
I watched both those programmes Shaney and thoroughly enjoyed them. Anne Reid is just brilliant!
Britain on Film brought back so many memories of the sixties fashions. Those were the days.
As for Christmas, I haven't yet given it a thought. If it happened every five years instead of every year, I might be more enthusiastic!
Off to bed now so oight, oight biddies. xx
Morning all...much brighter but so very cold and windy.
Yes Last Tango was a good one...I loved the way Sarah Lancashire dismissed the snitch, haha.

I need rocketing too shaney, I'm fed up of feeling lousy but I've got things to do. I make Mother Hubbard look over stocked.

Just going to look for a hypnotist to wipe that vision of neti from my mind. :)
Good morning. Went to bed at 2.00am after falling asleep over my knitting at about 1.00am. After my posting last night I felt wide awake (after feeling zonked all day) and sat down to watch a bit more television and a couple of rows of knitting!!

Mr LL has gone to Lincoln and I am going to do nothing except a quick tidy up before going to osteopath for an hour at 3.00pm. There are lots of blue bits in the sky, which half an hour was that dark purple black storm colour.

Take care of all of you. x
P.S. Thoroughly recommended

Buy one get one half price (they do a cream one too!) And they are longer than they look on the picture. Need to buy a size larger than usual. Really soft and comfy and not as hot as the larger bulky fleece tops I bought (which I also love)
The weather here now is absolutely ghastly and I don't feel inclined to go anywhere. Have to go and get ready for osteo very shortly. Do you think I should just put my coat on over my fleecy PJ's ? ;o)

('Spose I shall have to shower........... :o( )
My rocket up the bm didn't get off the ground either Lottie...
Hairdresser can't come for two weeks :( so I really should make that a goal post to get myself sorted....in practise I just keep sitting down or browsing the shops on tinter.
I don't need any nightwear at the moment but I could do with replacing my black zip up fleece, I've worn it to death.
I like this bag but it's really only a winter style...and not very practical if it was raining. It would be like carrying Charlie when he was wet! :)

Ha, ha, that bag would look like my son's black furry cat when she comes in from the rain!!

I am wearing those tops as indoor lounge wear Robi. Not for bed. I can't wear warm clothes in bed - I would boil over!!!
Bloomin' 'eck. Your link has cut the lines short Robi!!! Well it has on my screen!!
Sorry, when I saw it posted I thought it might cause probs. It's ok for me but it's a bloomin' nuisance and looks so untidy. Why are the links no longer shortened...that's what I want to know!!!
I think I'll stick to the zip fleeces, they're quicker to escape from when I have a tropical moment :)
Softer than the zip ones though Robi and nicer on the skin. I can't read beyond "it's a bl..... " on
the first line or "tropic..." on the second!!

Must have that shower now and go!!!
