I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Am now going to type a lot of drivel on this latest posting to see if it gets truncated and cut off. I have nearly finished my waistcoat apart from the worse job of all - knitting that damn ribbed edge along both fronts -for which I think I need a long needle thingy.
Yeahhhhhh!! Hooray.
a faux fur hobo, I don't want to find one of those under my bed thank you.
I have never had a problem with chopped off links or text..but I use ad blocker (smug smug) an dosed up with paracetamol because yesterday Shughy put his head up suddenly and smacked me in the mouth...no damage apart for a cut lip and some bruising. We had a hugely busy day yesterday, went and collected a tortoise that I m taking on because the owner is moving and we got lost due to a road closure. Luckily had an ancient (2003) GPS in the car and were able to get sorted and get there. Today we went and bought a frozen turkey so that is the christmas grocery shopping just about finished. We had lidl lobster for tea which was yummy. Anyway tonight we are all exhausted so oight oight.

I just watched Goodnight Britain .It was really interesting .
Did any of you insomniacs watch it ?
I felt really sorry for them .One poor woman was getting up in the night ,making cakes and surviving on three hours kip a night .
And the snorers ..well ! One chap actually stopped breathing several times a night .
I don't sleep too badly all things considered ,and of course being an old fogie I can sleep when I like but it must be awful for people who have to got to work and sleep badly .
On that note ..I'll say Oight Oight and sleep well lovelies .
Oooh ouch Woofy . Hope it soon clears up .
Pssst .....I use an adblkr too :)
goodness, is that Gandalf's older brother, Lottie? I think... given a choice... Johnny Depp under my bed would be better.
Morning....ooooooh, real feel minus 5, I had to break the ice on the bird baths.
Beautiful blue skies tho' and no wind so, like it or not, I'll be out with the soap dodgers shortly. I might have to treat myself to a golden coach and go further afield later. Unlike woofy I haven't even started, never mind finished.

No shaney I didn't see that....good thing probably, I might have found another way of not sleeping :)
A feeling of calm and safety is what's needed for a good night's sleep

Oh I like these tidy links...Lottie, I use the site in my second post on this page to shorten them.
oh goodo it's only a real feel of minus 2 now...maybe by the time I'm ready it'll be a feel of +22C.
lovely day... they must all have gone to the beach.
Lovely day? My A****!!! It's not lovely here at all. Occasionally a bit of blue shows itself and the next minute it is dull and raining again.

The ends of my lines are all cut off again!!!

...................... and I think I have caught a bug of some sort......................................

I saw that programme Shaney. Mr LL used to snore like that bloke - but since his heart attack and stent (and losing about 3.5 stone) it has stopped. I am now married to a very slim man - I rather liked the one with a bit more meat on his bones.

See you later...............
oh dear, it was a glorious, but cold, day here. Shame it was so short.
Question Author
Not too bad here either .Mostly sunny but we had a couple of short sharp downpours . Cold though .
Had a nice afternoon at my brothers .Other rellies turned up and we had a good natter and munched on ssge rolls and mnc pies .

Thank you for the lovely calendar Jno .Great photos .
It's taking me ages to write all the days in though .I'm only up to February.
Can you send it out a bit earlier next year :)
Hi all. I'm back but I have problem. I can't see all of your posts. You know at the right hand side where it says report, well, all I can see is re and not the rest so I'm missing that edge of your posts. Any advice would be gratefully accepted. I have read all your posts wthout that edge so I have the gist and you have given me a good laugh. Thanks.
I also wrote a longish post and didn't copy and paste to notepad, like I do normally on Woofy's advice, and lost it so I'm going to write tomorrow when I'm not so tired. I'll just say it was a good few days without hospital appointments but of course they have started again today with 3 next week. Will it ever end I ask myself.
Anyway I'll post properly tomorrw.
See yer later 'gater(s) oight oight!!
don't forget with February you can stop at 28 for next year, shaney
beautiful calendar jno, thank you. Been busy today constructing a new wooden box for new tortoise who is hooge. Good job Sis was here to help me and she generously shared her swear word ration too! Then haircut then coffee with a mate of mine.
ooof oight oght all.
I see Jude has the same problem as me with the
missing ends to lines to am keeping my ends short!!
Oight oight!! x
