I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Just as long as your tete didn't blow off shaney :) I might have a shuffle down my garden, see if anything's landed there.

By 'eck lottie, you look very glam for a Sunday :)
By 'eck, it's still blowing a hooley here, and we were sitting in the conservatory doing the crosword when i felt chilly, looked at my legs and one was soaking wet from a leak in the roof, I didn't even know! The conservatory is guaranteed for another 10yrs so she must get it fixed, rain is also dripping down the walls and we are still sitting here!!! Mad or what???
Question Author
The wind has dropped here thank goodness .But I don't think we're out of the woods yet .The forecast looks dire .
I've still not found my tete cover .It's probably in the North Sea by now !
no worries, looks like the air-sea rescue people have located it

hahaa...my tete isn't that huge Jno :)
Went back to bed at 12.00 and got up at 4.30. Just enjoyed myself listening to the radio for 4 hours. Stomach is playing me up!!
Poor lottie, I feel guilty now for being so "social".

I moved myself into sis's front room and warmed up, the reason we do not use it is because bro-in-law always watched his sport in there and then past year his bed was in there, so we are just out of the habit, silly realy.

I feel as if I've been steamrollered today .Couldn't be bothered to cook even so we had bubble and squeak and a fried egg. How common .
Now I've got heartburn ...lol.
Oight Oight .
Hello all, I did a long post and lost it. Sorry to hear about Twirtle but he was a good age for a budgie wasn't he?. Sis and I did a ton of shopping today despite the hideous weather.
Morning all, thanks for sympathy, feel OK now.

Have to laugh, a tete in Spanish is a titty, so with that tucked under your arm Shaney, I know how it feels!

sighs ...why do we spend so much time just waiting? I'm waiting for the hairdresser to get back to me for the second time...finally trying to make an appointment.
Still got tummyache but taking it easy because this afternoon we are off up to Nottingham to see Elbow tonight. Can't say I feel much like it, but as I love Elbow so much am going to dose myself up and brave it. Hope it's not too flooded up there - Will wave to you Robi!!!
