London Museum

I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Lovely day here ,but we've had some snow ! Not much ,just a light dusting which has gone now .Very cold still.
I watched out the window earlier and saw the great and the good going to church.The Bishop of Norwich bobbing along followed by two mayors ,Viscountess Knollys and various other brass,followed by the serfdom ,for some special service or other .Quite interesting !

ARRIVED SAFE AND SOUND WITH NO AUXILLARY POWER ON THE PLANE SO FIRST IT WAS FREEZING AND THEN boiling hot, hated it, feel so ill, am so glad I am back in my cosy and scruffy and somewhat dirty home! Mr N has made a lasagne then i'm off to bed.

and the pilot had to start one engine and then get help with the other, and once we had landed he could shut off one engine but we had to have a machine to shutdown the other engine, I ask you!

Glad you are home safe and sound Neti although it sounds as if you limped along ! At least you didn't have a bomb scare like a plane I was on once .

Glad you are home safe Neti and I hope everyone else is well. I have eaten something that has given me a sensitivity reaction I think, feel a bit rough and my mouth and lips are sire and burning....no swelling or breathing problems but I don't arf feel poo.

very parky here today, frost never melted. I may have to emigrate to Lasagne Island at this rate.

Tomorrow is absolutely definitely jaw drilling day, I think. Unless the dentist decides again I'm not quite ready for my implant, but I think this is the day.

Good day to you all ,just letting you all know I am unable to participate on here as 1) I 'm in a great deal of pain with a kidney infection -had it for a week now .Doctor gave me Augmentin Duo Forte tablets which I presume is clearing up the infection .But still have a sore back .
2)Nothing much to write about and I feel so boring
3) Hard work thinking ! -that's what you get at 79 ! so I'll say Farewell and Good Luck and Good Health to you all -hope you get through your coming Winter .Not looking forward to our Summer which is already here and stinking hot ,we're having a Heatwave for the next week .

good morning folk. Bright and sunny here, am still in bed deciding whether to blitz the house or wait until I feel better!

It is our 37th wedding anniversary today, not that we do much about it!

Mr N slept in hija's room last night cos apparently I was making hell of a racket, coughing, sneezing and snoring! Moi???

Will try to catch up on all the posts soon, but it is nice to be back home, and for the moment I am happy to settle down but we'll have to wait and see.

Woofy whatever have you eaten, melon and oranges do that to me not not longlasting effects. We almost bought one of the lidl lobsters but decided we had way too much food to finish before I left. Sister is getting one for just her this week. £5.99 frozen in sea water, looks delicious. I love Lidl, Am wearing slipper socks as I type from Lidl £2.99, wore them in bed all night!! Our local branch in Eastbourne did not have Suddenly for 3 weeks so haven't been able to stock up, I also love the mens aone. and they had a power cut last Thurs so the store was closed all day and they threw a mountain of food away, bet people were waiting at the back to collect some, I would if I have thought of it!

Now shall I get up or not!

jno fancy having a tooth implant this near to xmas, are you mad? You will be in paroxysms of agony. I have decided no more dentist unless this incisor needs sticking back in, that,s is that.
