I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

I think that should do it. Best check..............
Yep :o)

Had three more hours of proper sleep and feel better. I sleep better alone anyway. Mr LL has disappeared up north somewhere.
I can't stand Katherine Jenkins and that sort of music that apparently was in the show. Sort of show songs and light opera - no, no no!! (Like Elaine Paige on a Sunday who promptly gets sworn at and turned off (BBC Radio 2))
Have almost unpacked, and have blitzed bedroom and bathroom, but so much washing to do! So just tidying the lounge nd big clean tomorrow.

Off for a rest!
Oh blast. I forgot about the long links. I give up.
I just give a card on our anniversary, and an appropriate gift on the five-yearly one. A bit pointless as OH has never remembered one yet.

Oh dear, Lottie, and here was I just packing ready to move to Fakenham. Perhaps I'd better wait until the rule of law reaches Norfolk, I do prefer not to be packing heat when I go to the shops.
AM COPYING SHANEY AVIATOR, XMAS PETS!
A'noon people, here I is...been a bit busy. Heck, it's turned bitterly cold today and it was quite mild first thing.

Hello Dolly! Sorry you're feeling ill and low but try and pop in again sometime or give us a wave. Take care, hope it doesn't get too hot for you.

Neti, I hope you feel better now you're back home...have a good rest, the housework can wait.

I don't like Katherine Jenkin's voice but she seems like a nice woman and is very pretty...I had that show on in the background because, however uncool it may be, I love Il Divo and the Overtones... They are far from the 'out of tones' as suggested on this site, tut.

Good luck with the teef jno.
Have been trying to catch up on Crickley Hall but so many interuptions!

Have also been onto Brent North london elf and safety. about the deplorable conditions in the hostel where hija stayed, she is covered in bedbug bites and has now moved out. I have sent them photos too, they are investigating. I mean however cheap a place is, there should be basic cleanliness. I love would to go there and steam clean the place. But better put my own house in order first!!
I wish I could read your threads. It is so frustrating having to guess!!
Try and remember to use the site I told you about Lottie
What have I missed? Why can't lottie see the threads?
Lottie has sabotaged the page with another long link, after faithfully promising never to do it again... But only on her own screen, I think; it looks fine to me.

Teef a partial success, I got home and took out the cotton wool plug, and the crown on the next tooth came off with it. I had to drive all the way back to get it superglued back on again. But the implant has been driven into place, so I have to wait a few weeks before another crown is screwed onto it.
You did tell me Robi and I read it in a hurry. Will go back and find it.
It's happening because I use IE9 apparently. Master LL insists it is the best and is not prepared to let me loose with other things like Firefox, which are not as truthworthy. Seeing as he is a computer professional and knows what he is doing, I have to take his word for it.
Poor jno, btw are you a masochist??

Mr N's lasagne has been reheated and enjoyed even though I can't taste a thing, kitchen cleaned, body bathed and now in a heated bedroom waiting for Eastenders and or Royal variety performance!
I have to say that I have no problems with firefox but did have an awful lot with IE, but hey different strokes for different computers!
apparently it's all Chrome these days; you can see how IE has gone down the pan

But I am happy with Firefox so far.
Hi All. Sorry I've not been here for a bit I've been really busy with Christmas and Appointments.
Pleased You're home safe Neti. I get my washing done before i come home so I've only got what I'm wearing to wash. Crafty or what. :)
Hello Dolly. Sorry you're feeling low. I know what that feels like and I can tell you all the friends on here will listen to you and chat with you as much as you want when you feel like that. So don't stay away too long.
I've been to see my friend Carlos today (I've been given 'permission' to call him that!! He calls me by my Christian names together). He sent me for another Xray and said my wrist was healing nicely. But I now have a trigger finger and he has given me a steroid injection in my hand towards my finger saying that that would almost make it better.. I have to go back in 6 weeks again.
I've done all my cards and sent them via royal mail and the scouts. Others being delivered by hand and bought all my presents (not wrapped).
Tomorrow is lunching with friends day after I've been to town to look for some knee high narrow boots for my skinny legs. Any suggestions would be gratefully accepted. Yesterday I bought 2 long/short wool 'dresses' or whatever you call them to wear with thick tights and boots.
I'm off now to watch UC/SOTD and then Only Connect of BBC4.
I hope you all have a good night. Laters 'gaters.
Where has the right side gone again????
