I'm reading a history mystery and in the book the protagonist is invited to look around the house of a lawyer .It's stacked to the gunnels with various artefacts statues ,paintings etc .It reminded me of a museum somewhere in London that was in a private house but I can't remember the name of it .It's bugging me :)
Any ideas as to what it's called ?

Jude, sorry you are having trouble, rehab is as hard work as housebuilding but worth it.

Had a big panic today, my painter man was backed up and wasn't coming toll the 18th then he phoned me today and said could he come tomorrow? Gritted my teeth and said yes then did a panic clear.
I posted a long post and it vanished.

I love newberry fruits, I thought they had stopped making them.
Jude I am sorry your therapy is hard, but it always is, i used to tell my patients that it was as hard as manual labour....worth it when it works though.
I have run around panicking today as my painter rang and said could e come tomorrow, it has slipped back to the 18th so I just said yes please and then did a rush around to get ready....twill be lovely when its done.
Now that's weird, I log on again and my lost post is back......

It's a ghost in the machine Woofy .
We've got one of those sweetshops in town that sells all these lovely old fashioned sweets. But are you sitting down ? They're £3.99 a box and there are only 16 sweets ! But oooh ..I like sucking the jelly off and then crunching on the fruity shell bit .
There are only 8 now :)
I watched The Town and thought oh good Phil Davis is in it .For all of two minutes !
It's been snowing here .
Oight Oight .

I'll say Oights again .Hope you feel better tomorrow Neti and you too Jude .Take care with your wrist and go easy in this icy weather .
I know shaney, it makes me snifffle a bit.....
Tis minus 4 here
nothing like snow here.

Lunch with an old friend today, first time he has been up my way since he retired a year ago.
decorator man is here YAYYYYYY. He has got 5 more jobs to fit in between now and christmas so I am feeling smug and lucky.
Hello folks.

Could actually taste Raspberry jam on my toast this morning so hey ho, I'm on the way. I slept fine but when I get a coughing fit it is horrendous, scares me! but I feel a bit better today. Am still in bed. Hija feels better but still has a hacking cough.

How weird. I actually put some Newbury Fruits in my exported box (which should be here but its a fiesta so hopefully soon!)

Hope you are all OK

I also watch the Town and yes though ooh goody Phil Davis, could not believe it!! He came out of the bathroom, muttered something, shut the bedroom door and kaput!
Oops I take it nobody likes my Tunic and Boots :):)
The tunic looks a bit drab on here but the turquoise bit is sparkly in real life. and the boots fit me like a 'glove' :) :). so I'm happy.

Freezing here but I'm off out for a walk in a bit. It'll be a slow one though.
Pleased you're getting better Neti. Hope you're fully recovered very soon.

My last post was awful to put on. If I typed at my usual speed half the letters didn't appear. It's better today and up to speed thank goodness.

Pots to wash now - laters 'gaters
Just logged in to say I am off to hairdressers. Haven't looked at any of your posts yet. Back later to catch up. xx
Sorry Lottie, I like that sweater, I am a teal/turquoise fan. I just got rid of my leather boots as the heels are too high for me to walk in...god bless suede slouchies.
Not Lottie, Jude....I a having nominal dysphasia. I keep getting static shocks off things and they are affecting my brain
Sorry jude, I did mean to say that I love the boots and wished that I could wear a tunic like that but shape forbids it :-( If I forgot to mention it put it down to my feeling unwell, sorry pet xx
Just had a bath and some scrambled egg, feeling better, but why when I drink hot lemon and honey it makes my throat sore?
A'noon all...by 'eck, it's bitterly cold. Where did the day go?!
I can't take credit for the snowy window, it was posted in CB a few days ago, I guessed you lot would like it. :) I like yours too woofy, I've seen it before....I just love that song, it made me cry the first time I heard it years ago and I downloaded it to my puta.

Neti, pay attention! Your link's the same as woofy's...and don't play the lurgy, bleary eyes card :)

Love the things Jude, tunics are good for me in winter, my bm's always cold.
I've fetched my boots downstairs, I really should be getting my money's worth out of them...they'll have to last me until I'm in me little granny zip up ankle ones.

oh here comes jno, staggering back from lunch...looks like she sneaked her ruby slippers into that bag
