fatsia japonica

i have a huge fatsia in my garden which I would like to propogate.I have tried several times to grow a cutting from it with no success.It is now in bloom.Well bloom is not quite the right word.It has these large cream clusters growing up from the central stem.Can I take seed from these and try that or has anyone a better suggestion.Come in andyjevs your advice would be much appreciated !!

No No No!! Robi No long pleated skirts and twin sets just yet. You're only as old as you feel and I'm sure you don't feel that old yet. You made me laugh talking about Kits 'purse shoes' I can just imagine you in Birds with your foot up on that high counter saying "help yourself." All those young girls would be gob-smacked.

Just got really wet through, went to Ossy Park Sainsburys and the heavens opened as I was loading and unloading. Had to change my clothes when I got in.

Talking about my dream Kit I can still see it - it was that clear expecially the tattty old english phone box (not american)and the pile of 50 ps.
I have some 'bramahs' I can tell you. Dreams that is!!

Can somebody tell me how to( when writing a post to you) go onto the internet to copy and paste a link. I know how to copy and paste but not how to do it when I'm half way through a post Hope you understand what I mean. Any help would be appreciated.

Have just watched Kingdom, I thought we knew all along they were not related, or is that me getting it all wrong again! I thought one mother married another's father, but then I can't always concentrate and do get muddled. That's why I thought the brother was the father of the baby, althoug he wasn't. Yes he was cuddly that Stephen Fry but he's lost a lot of weight now. Do you watch Stephen Fry in America.?

Oh btw have any of you seen Jo Brand in Getting On - well, I thought it dreadful and also Liz smith's summer cruise, that's put me off boats for life, a very boring way to spend a couple of weeks. She crochetted a hat in 2 days cos it was boring!

I watched Liz Smith Neti on the boat and the interview after. What a strange life she had. she wouldn't let that interviewer get a word in edgeways on. I wouldn't go on a cruise anyway doesn't appeal to me. I liked the look of Venice though- fancy a trip in a Gondola.

Jude what I do is open another tab in my browser and find the page i want in that tab, then copy the address, go back to the page with AB on and paste the addy into my answer. Not sure which browser you have so can't tell you how to open another tab tho.

Bloomin' heck, another spooky moment...I just came on to tell you about Liz Smith's cruise (on BBCIplayer bbc4) and you didn't enjoy it :o( . I love her, I thought it was good & the hat was hilarious...but a cruise isn't my thing either. I liked the Jo Brand comedy as well but I've got a black sense of humour. I tend to stifle it on here, I wouldn't want to be burnt at the AB stake....with my life it's been a case of having to laugh or give up.

erm, well if you can paste a link Jude you just do it the same way press the space bar (or return/enter if you're starting a new paragraph) & carry on typing. Hope that's what you mean.

aha, I get what you mean now Jude...an easy way to do it is find what you want first & copy & paste the link onto notepad. Then when you've typed your post on here you can copy & paste it into the text where you like. always preview to make sure it works 'cos some people get a bit shirty if it doesn't work.... <ahem!>

didnt know you come from brighton netti..that explains a lot then he he the sun is out and it is warm,but it might rain who knows..the bloomin weather man cant make his mind up.I have this reacurring dream when I was in hospital.this nurse who use to bathe me,pulls the curtains around my bed,and she whips her uniform off and she's wearing fishnet stockings and starts to sponge me down very slowly and...blimey..just realized its before the watershed...(:O)

~~~~Vinnys film review~~~ Forgot to say,I saw Public enemies the film with johnny depp.It was an okay type of film but it was boring for the first hour....some good gunfights,they could have given some info about the hoods before the film started.But it was better than walking about in the rain.(:O)I wanted to see bruno,but didnt start till a couple of days later.

yep Vinny born at Brighton General Hospital at 5am on a Thursday morning in a thunderstorm, in a certain war year, but although I was there, I can't actually remember much about it!! Apparently my mother had run off with a Canadian soldier and thusly I was born there, but after a couple of months she went back to her husband who has always and ever will be my dad, god bless him. Is it any wonder that I'm a bit loopy, I was a war baby!

Absolutely chucking it down here , thunder and lightning very very frightening

You haven't been paying attention Neti .They were half brother and sister .Same father different mother but now it turns out they are not related at all.Peter now has no idea who his father was .
