And I've spent the evening with my legs in the air watching Al Pacino films .Sea of Love and Scent of a Woman and .I love the bit where he does the tango .Night all sleep tight xx
morning tout le monde...it's damp here now after much overnight rain...and the only croquet I know about are the ones you make with 'taters...

Well I should have stayed awake watching Al Pacino films 'cos I didn't sleep very well...bit muggy wasn't it? When I did nod off tho' I had the weirdest dream...I went to the coast & part of the beach was divided into rectangles with green windbreak & that's where people were sunbathing all day in the blistering sun...odd thought I, seeing as all you'd be able to see were green 'walls', so I wandered off down the road that followed the coast. Now the beach had become green grassland but the sea was still rolling in over it....hmmmm? Odder still. The road became busy with people obviously heading for some event when suddenly a little white escapee bull came charging through & everyone was trying to form a barrier to stop it...but when it got up to me it went quiet & calm & trotted alongside for a while & I thought 'it must know I'm a taurean' ....and then it charged off again....hahaha....

I really must stop eating chocolate late at night...and I'd better check nothing's happened to Tommy Steele.
btw, I really had no idea until now that it's the Pamplona bull run, I don't think you've mentioned it neti?
Morning all . I dreamt a good one last night. I had a meeting with Obama in the White House . We got picked up at Doningotn Airport in his private plane and whisked off to America We were met there by a chauffeur and Obama in a bullet proof limo and taken off to the town centre where we just went round enjoying ourselves. Don't know who the people were with me. All I wanted to do was ring my Dad and tell him I had been Dancing with the President. I found a phone box and there was a pile of 50p which an American lady told me they were for me to use to make the call. Crazy dream or what.!!? Can't remember any more.

I hope you are all ok today and that your leg is feeling a little easier Shaney.

The weather is a bit better today after an early morning downpour.

Have a good rest of the weekend see yer later 'gater(s) x
ooerr Jude, must be something in the water, haha

Peri's back
funny 'cos I was only wondering about her the other day as I was looking through some old threads...shame the usual suspects are cluttering it up...
good morninghere its a gloroius sunny day after a night of sustained soaking rain. Excellent growing weather! DH imploded his tyre pump yesterday, not surprising really we bought it more than 30 years ago, so our mission for today is to go buy a new one.
Alls right in my world, hope yours is okay too, especially Shaney in the world of leg...have you still got it up in the air?
Have I come to the Biddy Dream Lab? I had the strangest dream I was afraid to go to bed last night or rather of waking up as I've slept on my fancy super-duper luxury box spring for twenty years, I have some aches and pains and I feared how my body would react to the new futon. The mattress is thinnish but it's layered wool-latex-wool and the futon slats are very springy so I have some hope of surviving ha ha but I did wake up on my back which may or may not mean that I wasn't comfortable lying on my side. I don't really do back sleeping anymore, my back doesn't approve and I wake myself up snoring (which started almost exactly when I turned 50!) Mine's a dark gray but otherwise this is it, so now I can bring people home without also bringing them into my bedroom. Thank you Woofy, it was you who inspired me to start looking for futons again.

Love your dreams Jude and Robi. I'm always envious of people who dream story dreams mine are fragmentary. But I have started dreaming "stories" lately and the futon dealer/assembler and I were talking about symbols and dreams and she said there was one good dream dictionary, this one - anyone familiar with it?

Neti will you send some biddy love your sis' way if she knows about us.

I saw our Robinia answer an impossible question in Music last night (reggae song with words "skengeh skengeh" and "branga branga"??!) so here's some contemporary bork bork bork reggae for y'all now! (Title means "I like your vibe".)
Good afternoon to yer all...had a lovely week in "london by the sea.."sunny in the mornings, thunder and rain in the afternoons. They have more weird characters per square mile than any other place on earth.well...maybe ibiza.
XD.in one pub run by this spanish guy, there were names of dead celebrities on the black board, the trick is,you pay a pound and put a name up,if that person dies before anybodys elses you get all the money..eeeek.! :)I popped over to eastbourne on the train and walked to hollywell to a little cafe overlooking the sea, they have the most beautifull
plants growing along the walk..even crab apple trees..?they have some brill cafes in brighton.Trust me to pick the wrong one,I think The breakfast was sponsored by the Cholesterol Marketing Board..tight gits..(:O)hope you are all well and shaneys on the mend.nice dreams you have in derby...water...we call it sherry ere. he he..!.I got beaten up on the seafront, this giant coCkroach attacked me..I went to hospital and the doctor said there was a nasty bug going around...(:O)

Move over shaney...I've got one leg up with a cold pack now thanks to a huge bite on my achilles tendon....ouch..

'skanga'... hahaha...it used to be funny, everytime there was a quiet moment in a song some clown would come out with that...<you had to be there I s'pose>

Sweedie if you're hostess again sometime you can put your lappy on the futon & we'll all put it to the test. I was wary of my new bed too, but I didn't admit it 'cos I thought you'd all think I was potty.... <ahem!>....I prefer to sleep on my back but, if it was possible, hovering a few inches above the bed would be ideal. I've got a couple of dream dictionaries but I don't know of that one, there are so many, usually with different explanations. btw, that might not necessarily have been my entire dream...but it's all I'm telling... ;o)

Welcome home Vinny! P'raps you'd better nip back & add Tommy Steele to that list after my little white bull dream & we'll share the winnings.....he is still alive isn't he?.... and have a <<thwack>> for that joke...

Hi folks
Nice to see you Vinny .We often used to go on jolly boys outings to Brighton when I lived London .Either there or Herne Bay or Margate .
Oh dear robinia for goodness be careful we can't have two of us with gammy legs .Is it the left or the right ?
Mines the left .If your's is the right we can tie the odd ones together and do Knees up Mother Brown
I'm hobbling better today thank goodness ..
All these vivid dreams .I never dream much .Well I suppose I do but I never remember them unless it's a nightmarish one from eating too much chs .
Legs in air for Kingdom later :)
Toodlepip for now take care all.
'fraid it's the left one too shaney, my neatly turned ankle would now look well on a baby elephant, tut...we'll have to do the can-can from a sitting position...not quite as seductive, especially in flip-flops.
(or in my clumsy world, trip-flops)
Hope you are all ok today. So incredibly hot here I am absolutely drained and have a headache (think I'll blame the bee).

No Robi I never mention the running of the bulls in Pamplona, it's a bit like religion, can cause arguments.

Poor daughter and flatmate, they have lost their wifi connection in apartment that they've had use of for 2 years, but i think it's been secured now. Will have to save up for a payg dongle for her, it's never ending is it?
Oh have just found these posts. I wish I'd met you in Eastbourne Vinny why couldn't you have waited til August? I love Holywell, did you find the little round walk yp tower by the sugar loaf. Did you attempt to walk up the downs? Oh byw, I was born in Brighton and we are not all weird! Did you go to North Laine in Brighton, it's fab, full of hippies and health foods and one can smell the pot!! First place I rush to, it's so out of time.
Neti if it's full of hippies and health food and you can smell the pot from afar I think we may assume he found it. Good to see you Vinny. Is your son liking Norway?

"Legs in air for Kingdom later", that's in perfect meter Shaney, sounds great;) Well the line, that is, not the reality of it :( I'm starting to long for this Kingdom, no doubt we'll see it here sooner or later. We're now watching the "new" Miss Marple that you were all talking about a year back.
I did go up the lanes netti and they sell legal highs and not so legal....he he..!loads of veggie cafes to..!didnt go up the downs this time, but my arms killing me from skimming pebbles in the sea...mine skimmed 5 times...yep he loved norway sweedy...I said it would be snowing and he got sunburn..(:O)my daughter should just be landing in aya napa any minute...poor cypriots...
Vinny North Laine is not one of the lanes, it's just opposite where Hanningtons Department Store used to be, fab place.

Shaney you can stick your legs up in the air for as long as you like but Kingdom won't be impressed, you are just not his type!!
But he's sooo cuddly Neti ..anyway I knew it would be a cliffhanger .Typical, and now we'll have to wait ages for a new series . It turns out that Peter and Beatrice are not brother and sister after all .Well they were half siblings but not even that now .
Hope you are all OK on this bright sunny morning .
morning hobblies & wobblies...it was good wasn't it shaney? And Ladies O-L was brilliant...did I hear Maureen say 'degree in Demonics'? hahaha...

no sh.....?!....I've been doing that for years, I didn't need scientists to tell me....#$%^&* @$##!!

I was shrieking with laughter when she was in that cell doing the cleaning .She cracks me up . The bit where she was clambering around tucking her bedclothes in with that pleated skirt with her backside in the air ! And the bit with Vera dancing in her brown paper hat with the pigtails ....turn, turn and .....present ..hahaha... Letters on Bronco .Good idea actually ,the way I chunter in a letter I get through half a writing pad .
I nearly fell off the sofa .It was hilarious .
G'day gang. Have to say that's very interesting Robinia. I buy every word of it. Uninhibited bellowing really helps too when you drop the cast iron frying pan on your toe - that kind of situation. I've noticed that when I hold back (for fear of frightening people!) the pain lasts so much longer. Another thing I do (please don't have me sectioned?) is I talk to the toes (or whatever) and explain it was just an accident, there is no second 'attack' on its way, they are very beloved toes indeed and they will heal. I came up with this method after reading about the amygdala and its caveman personality. So I talk to the toes (or whatever) but I believe it's the amygdala that listens and decides to call the whole thing off. I'm convinced it makes a difference in healing trauma. It's quite the opposite of what your article describes where you go along with the caveman instead - I think both methods are excellent and it's the inbetween that's non-functional. Okay I'll just pack my bag now. Will there be carrot cake and halloumi at the Home...?

Jude I'm so in love with your dream, how everything had been prepared for you, the fifty pence for calling your father - it's such a dainty little fairytale dream<3
