Hello Biddyfriends What a hot day it is to be sure.
Get well soon Shaney I don't like to hear of any of you poorly.

You've set me off with your nail varnishing and I've just done mine. Nothing very striking just a delicate shade of pink. Wont be on for many days I tend to peel it off so then I have to get the remover out to do the job properly.

I must have been on here about 3 years now I'm pleased to say and have really enjoyed it. Sometimes I wander off for a bit but I soon come back because I'm nosey and I wonder what you've all been up to then there's the other side of it when you cheer me up when I feel down or out of sorts.

Still watching the tennis and I'm hoping for an Andy v Roger final.

Take care All xx

I've just looked up when I started on here and it is 4 years in September this year. My 'gast ' has never been so 'flabbered' I really didn't think it was that long.

gulp, I have been on here since 19th september 2002 which is longer i think than the biddies have been camping but maybe not longer than individual members?
Ooh, some more great tennis today Jude. How do they do it in that heat tho?....and the spectators with bare shoulders & no titfers?....they'll be sorry, tut. 4th AB anniversary coming up eh? I've not been here as long as woofy - 31st Oct 2003 for me

Well I'm so pleased a spell in the beauty salon had an impact but you won't be wanting to snap 'em pruning the bud glob so we'd better call in a gardener....woohoo! Yes, shaney I've seen Greenfingers....Clive in a garden...all my dreams on a plate! :o) oh & the lovely Warren Clarke too. It's time I gave it another viewing but better wait until it cools down, I'll be blowing a gasket! I love the beer woollies, haha....
I think Nella must have been related to my neighbour, she rambles on about what she's having for dinner, right down to the last grain of salt and funnily enough she did have a craze on spam recently. She does eat some odd concoctions & fails to see the connection between that & the fact that in between her cakehole & her 'outlet' she's got almost every known ailment....which I also get to hear about in glowing detail. :o/

neti it's as hot as Ibiza here - if not hotter. I'm looking for something a bit less clingy at the moment....anyone got a spare tent pole bag I can wear as a kaftan?

I spend my day in pajamas atm....Carole hochmans from qvc, they are soft and cottonny and very cool, Dh won't let me go to the supermarket in them though:(
Hahaaa you are all a tonic !
Just after I posted yesterday phone went and I had to go to the hospital for a heparin jab in my stomach and they took more blood so I could have matching arms . .Off again to the hospital shortly for a scan on my leg .The indignity of being pushed round the hospital in a wheelchair was the absolute pits though .I cannot praise my GP enough ...Marvellous man .He's been a star .

After all this I shall probably come back and have another dose of Clive Owen:)
Lovely day here .Have a nice one all and take care of yourselves xxx
Morning pop-pickers..!
Ive read all the posts...I didnt fancy getting thwacked with the womens weekly.. :O) eres one for sweetheart yo.must go and earn a crust..later dudes.
morning...oi! never mind the crust, where's me toast? it's too hot to make any but at least there's a stronger breeze at the moment.

Are you a qvc addict woofy?...my aforementioned neighbour used to be & before I had freeview she'd be on the phone relaying what was being shown....gave me a chance to nip off & make a cuppa, lol. Then I discovered I could watch online so she was out of a job, haha. I love some of the jewellery...why is it always the most expensive piece?....but I haven't ever sent for anything....yet.

Be thinking of you shaney...in between thoughts of Clive x :o)

haha, Vinny is it officially Wooly now?....only a matter of time before it's Biddyford :o)
Afternoon Everyone

Hope all goes well at the hospital Shaney. My Drs. a star as well. I really appreciate him.

More tennis this afto. It's the Williams sisters who I'm not very fond of. They're a bit like robots to me but I expect it will be a Williams final.

Have a good rest of the day
See yer later 'gater(s)!
oh, MysticJude! I was going to ask if anyone else was as bored rigid by the Wiliams sisters as I am?
Well they did it didn't they Robi one the easy way and one the hard way!!
Yes Jude....at least one match was interesting!

well, it's cooled down considerably....I might even be semi-functioning tomorrow
Oh who am I fooling, nobody probably: I miss biddyhood!!! I'll drop by now and then if that's okay, but I have to tell you I have an internet addiction (for real) and I want to cut down so I won't be posting quite like I used to. But ♫ ♪ a little bit is better than nada ♪ ♪ ?

Nearly joined Shaney at the hospital today (poor old girl, reading those posts I really feel for you) after a bout of migraine accompanied by nausea. Worshipping in the temple of China (jno taught me that one!) is not such a good idea during a heat wave but there you have it. As some of you know, not even water stays down when it's that kind of headache and I think I came very close to dangerous dehydration but my sister was keeping an ear on me through phone calls and it's much better now; a cup of salty instant organic miso has brought me back to life.

Speaking of people at risk of dehydration;) it's so sweet to see that hippy back in the fold. You may regret saying you miss me through no fault of my own I'm gonna be a pain in the proverbial, going "I couldn't view that, oh please what was it" I don't know what's going on but probably YouTube isn't paying all record companies for viewing rights to Sweden. Every so often when I click a YT link on AB I just get a page saying "this video is not available in your country due to copyright restrictions" and they don't even let me see what it is that they won't let me see. But again ♪ a little bit is better than nada ♪ ♪ - I'm just hoping I won't drive all of you nuts with that. Perhaps you could also post some visual clues from RMD Vinny, one for every YT link Nice ABBA.

I think it was the japanese brain age test wot did me 'ead in yesterday

Evening there Robinia, could you blow some cool this way.
morning all...keep your chin (and leg) up Shaney. Yes I am that dreadful thing a qvc shopper. I get a lot of my papercrafting stuff of them, also if you like pearls then honora have some good deals. I don't watch it much tho, I just shop on the website.
Its a beautiful morning here, much cooler than yesterday and less humid as well. I took the boys out really eartly and left OH in bed, came back and fed them and it was still only 5.15 so I laid down on the settee to doze till 6 am when the shops open and I could nip out for the paper....dogs settled with me, happy as Larry and OH still in the land of nod upstairs.......next thing i know its 20 to 8 and the rest of my family is still dead to the world. Gt to say there are worse ways to start the day. Nice to see you back Kit
there's a blessed breeze in the garden so I'm going out to enjoy it
Laters Guys
morning all...there's a thunderstorm rolling around here so this could be a very quick visit! Tis so lovely & fresh. Didn't get much sleep last night & I could do with a squirt of wd40...I think all my joints have dried up.

Good to have you with us sweedie, sorry about the rotten head...I've had a bad sinus headache every afternoon this week but not quite a migraine. I've only existed on sandwiches & ice cream tho'. <points fan in direction of Sweden, is it that way?>...erm, I hope the cool air's coming your way.

Morning folks
Bit fresher here too.We had a drop of rain early this morning .
Nice to see you Sweedie and hope you are feeling better now .
Went for my scan and they are 99.9% sure I have no clots but apparently there is a peripheal vein they can't find so I have to go back next week for another one .Trust me to have a ruddy vein they can't find :)
Knee xrays this afternoon .Failing that I am still taking the tablets and still hobbling with my stick .I just wish it would go away ! It's sooo sodding painful and pain numbing drinkies aka GIn is out of the question..

Hope you are all OK anyway .Have a nice weekend, take care and keep cool x
Oh a life on the ocean wave
A home on the rolling deep
There was lasagne every day
And Bacardi to help you sleep
Hey ho the gang's all here.

Hello again swedie, nice to see you, to see you nice !

Poor shaney</b< you really are suffering, I hope things improve for you very very soon.

I've been "Harry Pottered" but it looks ok, long blonde one side and short the other with dark undertones. At least it's not pensionerish, and quite "a la mode".

Is jno back in our loving arms or still gallivanting round Croatia.

Thunderstorms, oh praise be, I would love some. yes Brighton may have been hotter than Ibiza yesterday but not as humid and not for 3 months, it's killing me, I so hate it.
Oooops don't you just hate that when it happens. It's my fingers, they get all confused! Sorry!
