couldn't get in yesterday, then got in via Google, did a long post and got kicked out :-( shampooing doggy carpets today.
laters (hopefully) hope you are all keeping well?
gah, taken so long to get on here I've forgotten what I was going to say. It was probably about an egg.
....'tis tediously slow intit?

We're back to monsoon season here...but it didn't catch me, ha!
Anyone want to borrow my new gadget? it's marvelous

lMAO Robi, you do find em! It seem sto be picking up speed a bit here so hopefully see you again after brekkers and housework
ooh-er, there's a severe weather warning in place today - I'd better put on a protective device
Greetings from Derby-sur-mer...yes we've been warned too but actually at the moment the sun's peeping through...no...yes....no, gone. Not even going to get the recommended 10 mins today. Speaking of recommendations I see we're all supposed to be drinking coffee now, not my preference but hey-ho, bring out the Camp

This is what we get here when we mention Camp!!

If this doesn't work it's not my fault, been ages trying to get on here !
Am getting rather confused re mj's funeral. After the funeral service he's off to the rock and roll concert - so where is he gonna spend the night. Dead bodies can't go rachetting all round the country surely! and then hopefully, one day, he'll go finally to Neverland - but where's he gonna be until then. Oh dear, I like it when a funeral is a funeral and that's it. Not bodies gallivanting all round the world. I'm too old-fashioned i think.
Why can't we just have rain during the night? It's been almost non-stop today.
Hope you are all ok and your leg is getting better Shaney
I'm afraid I think M J's funeral is a bit far fetched. But if that's what they want and the fans are for it then so be it. I personally think he was a nut case but i have to admit I did like some of his music.
It was ok as long as I didn;t have to look at him. Except when he was a young man when he was very handsome before all the changes.
Don't know what I'm going to watch on the box tonight there doesn't seem much choice. Anyone any ideas?
The quiz on a Tuesday has now stopped for lack of support. I think it's better in the winter.
Have a good night All xx

I'm so cheesed off with trying to tunnel in here .It's worse than pulling teeth .
My leg is not much better .Not quite so painful but still swollen and discoloured .Scan on Thursday,( I hope they find the damn vein ) by which time I shall have finished the medications and I shall go back to my GPand see what he says
.It's a friggin' nightmare .I'm going stir crazy .Haven't been out of the house now for a fortnight ,well only to go to the doctor or hospital .Getting up and down the stairs is difficult to say the least but I did have a bath today :)
Mr S has been a brick .
There isn't much on TV Jude is there , but I just watched Girl with the Pearl Earring .Very good it was ..Colin Firth all brooding and arty waving his maulstick around :)
Kingdom was good ..looks as if it's going to be a cliffhanger next week .
Hope you are all well and that Vinny is behaving himself in Brighton .He'll have a job on that stoney old beach :))
Toodlepip for now ,take care x
I had MJ's funeral on but wasn't really watching...then Mariah came on & the tele went off pdq!

What a day! Cracking storm right overhead this afternoon, the puddles almost met in the middle of the road.
Sorry you're feeling so bad shaney, hang on in there...I watched & enjoyed that film too, very good.
Sick of aches & pains myself but I think, thanks to google, I've diagnosed my neck, ear, side of head problem, haha...don't think I'll be asking for a 2nd opinion in B&S, although I could use it as a test.

oh, just spotted the AB staff going home

Evening biddies. I've spent half the day trying to post on AB... This really is too bad, never seen anything like it.

I'm moving stuff around from one place where it doesn't belong to another place where it doesn't belong, trying to make room for Saturday when my futon will be delivered. She (the shopkeeper) is going to assemble it here so we'll need some space and there is none. Help! I'm quite nervous that my body won't approve of this whole idea. It's a high quality futon and the mattress feels good in the shop but you never can tell until you've slept the night can you.

You made me feel like a spy for a minute there Neti when you said "our friend in Stockholm" - cf "Our Man in Havana" ha ha... Did your Norwegian guy sound funny, we think they do, they have such merry intonation and hilarious words (which don't translate well, sorry). They seem like great people.

Have to agree with Jude on the nut case verdict, even just the things that went on by his own admission... He was a genius and his music and dance was where his soul and spirit were at. My heart breaks every time I see him as a little boy.

If you do go over to B&S for advice Robinia... be sure to wear this;-)

very good for singing in the shower
so much for see you later, couldn't get in again yesterday...hope all is well with everyone, sorry to hear that you've still got the leg Shaney (that's biddyspeak) going out for the papers...laters folks
Hello everybody ,
glad to see you all surviving your golden summer ,hope no-one passed out in the heat ! I haven't had a chance to read the thread yet but I will . We have been having the coldest Winter for about 14 years and I do not appreciate it one little bit .
I have been doing quite a bit of reading lately ,one book in particular '"THE FORSAKEN" by Tim Tzouliades was very heavy going but I just couldn,t put it down .It was distressing me but it had to be read.
I do hope you are all keeping as well as can be , I've just got one complaint at the moment -someone out there is stealing my time away ,it is over 43 years since we arrived in Australia and I don't know where it's gone ! That's all for now folks but I'll be back
Love Dolly xx
Way hay - we are back on, still took a while but not too bad- type is different (well it is on mine). Welcome biddies, I rather wondered if that was the end of AB in general!
