Leather shoes

i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes.They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

Oh Poop ..I didn't buy Chat this week ..never mind Neti I am sure you looked absolutely fabulous as befits a lady of a certain age and once you are kitted out courtesy of Primark you will look even more fabulous .They published my pic in Real People once as a winner and I looked like the Witch of Endor when in fact I am absolutely wonderful with shiny hair and a fantastic figure ........all my friends were quite shocked.

Just been to an Argentine Meat (er sorry Vinny) restaurant, and it was, er, strange to be honest. Different cuts of meat (er sorry Vinny)and not to my taste at all, very expensive and very fatty (a bit like me), but I love trying new things. Hey hey Stockholm, here I come!!

Oh double bldy poop .I have just had to go up the garden with Shaney because some nincompoop is letting of fireworks at a rate of knots for some reason at this time of the night .Hound going bananas. I have now been bitten to bggry by some evil mossie ....which will teach me to roam around the garden in my shift in the early hours .

Dreadful photo isn't it Maggie?? It was taken last October on my birthday, we were visiting our daughter who was working o the other side of the island at the time. She apparently wrote to Chat in March and it's just got published now. Wish she'd had put in a decent photo - I was in my "comfort" clothes!!!

for a drink in the bistro or bar at ABBA-Benny's hotel. Or for that matter at the Hilton at Slussen, their lobby bar and bistro has a spectacular view and it's close to the Old Town, which is mandatory for tourists anyway, you see... Earlier this spring I had Jerusalem artichoke soup and a glass of sherry at the Hilton with a friend just at sunset, and I've been hallucinating about that soup ever since.

for a cuppa at Vetekatten

for a veggie buffet at Herman's with fab view- and audio effects - when you sit in their garden you can actually hear people screaming at Gr�na Lund, the amusement park across the water...

...oh and you simply must bring your hard hat!
