i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes.They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

Evening folk - have only just been able to get on computer. Gosh it's horrible and hot here, want to go back to damp and rainy Eastbourne, I loved it. I got away with the excess baggage as until Sept 30th BA allow 32 kilos without paying extra but only if you know about it and I did! Has taken me ages to unpack everything and put it away and then to do the family's washing, haven't got roound to tidyinghouse yet. Had to rush off this am to apply for Russian visa. Am shattered, will see you tomorrow nite xx

My daughter left for The globall gathering this morning,and she asked me fer the postcode for the airfield so her boyfriend could put it on the Tom Tom.I couldnt find it so I gave her one for the nearest pub..didnt tell her.she's just rung me and said did I give her the right code,coz their parked outside a pub..hahahaha..! (:O)

...wait... hang on... while I slip into something a little less comfortable... I'm funny that way but it's a little precaution I always like to take - whenever people mention setting fire to me and doing an Irish jig as I burn...!! robinia do thy worst!

Hadn't thought about them for the past oh forty years...? ...but that song was a hit over here too, and while listening to it now I suddenly remembered trying to make sense of the line that I now (finally!) know to be "you're the lady". All I could make of it was "yodl-ay-dee", but I also remember not really being pleased with my yodeling interpretation, it kept nagging at me, so thanks Vinny for clearing that one up (albeit you took you're time about it ha ha.)
What a journey YouTube has been and continues to be. I'm sure this is excellent brain-training pioneered by our generation - all these blasts from the past, each one setting off a chain of recollections and associations that would have otherwise never been stirred. A bit overwhelming though to see so many listener comments written in the past tense "he/she was great - when you had no idea...

A friend of mine has had kittens (well technically it's her cat) and I'll be meeting them next week. They're orange, how cute is that.
