i recently bought a lovely pair of leather pump style shoes. They are my size and fit nicely ..but the leather is so hard ! I have been rubbing Renapur into them with no effect . I have worn them once and got a blister for my trouble .What else can I do to soften them up ?

Good Morning All. I am so sorry Shaney I must have missed the post about your brave Shaney. I know how you must be feeling.
Hello Kit I really can't remember what I said about a golf tournament but anyway I did enjoy the Tiger Woods Video. Very exciting! What a shot!
Well after a very quiet week - my only night out was to see Harry Potter film - I am now enjoying a bit of sunshine. It's good to see a line of washing blowing in the breeze, simple things please simple minds don't they!
Have now put myself on a salad diet to try and lose a few pounds for my son's wedding in 2 weeks time. So today it's medallion steaks and salad.
Anyway I hope you all have a good day and see you later :o)
afternoon all....
...it proably sounds daft to say I hope you're alright shaney 'cos I expect you're feeling far from alright, but you know what I mean.xx

bright 'n breezy but a bit cool here when the sun goes in so I'm neither 'here na there' as we say.

Lose weight Jude? but I could have sworn you said you were a skinny link like me & with all that boppin' I'd have thought you'd burn off the cream cakes?
I wanted to gain some for my son's do so that I didn't look like someone had a chimbley brush next to them on the pics. And we all wore black (black tie affair, not goth!) so that didn't help.

Have just checked in for a minute. Oh shaney I feel so sad for your terrible loss, he was such a character even on here. Big cyber hug from us all for you xxx
hi neti are you trying to keep tourists out of Ibiza? (spotted you in travel)... :o)
'tis all the old Biddies over here thwacking folk wi' handbags!!!!
aha, so that's what you mean when you say you're going to a BiddyBash....
...so when are we going to see the spoils from your secret shopping? where's my pressie?
Robinia since I retired and not rocking and rolling so much (my friend having found a man friend) I have put some weight on and don't feel comfortable. I'd just like to get back to about 10 half stone instead of 11 LOL. Mind you I'm quite tall so I suppose it's not as bad as I think. Would you believe I've not been to Birds for my blackcurrant creams for ages and I really miss them but I shall persevere until the wedding then I'll probably go mad when it's over!
Oh jude I am now 11st and not very tall, and I feel fine - don't knock it!!!! I can't be bothered to diet.
Hi Neti I've always been on the thinnish side well to be blunt skinny except but this extra I've got on makes me feel podgy.
I bet you're glad to be back home where it's warm!! I saw you in Chat. You are one attractive lady!
I'm off to watch the Commander now so see you later! :o)
very sorry to hear the news, shaney; that also happened to a friend of mine the other day (she drove all the way from Essex to Wales to bury him) and she was miserable too
Just caught up with the news and I'm so sorry to hear dear old Shaney has gone and left you ,the devastating feeling when you lose a beloved pet is almost more than you can bear .You just howl as much as you want to Shaneystaruntil you start to feel better ,we've all enjoyed his comings and goings and we're going to miss him too . Big hug from Aussieland too .
good morning....had a fine start to the day - I thought my phone was down, until I realised I was dialling the tv remote....tut!

It 's probably a good time to jump on the biddybus & zoom down to Cornwall while all the tourists are being scared off

shame on you Vincent

...might have guessed it was you buffering about.
Whats all ;this about black current creams Jude. You never told me about these illicit goings on. Shame on you. (Mines a caramel doughnut ta) I am so sorry to hear that you have lost a beloved pet Shaney my thoughts are with you.

oh go & scramble the tins around neti...that'll keep him quiet for a bit or get him a shed.....tut, men!

Hi . Shaney was a beautiful dog, Shaney, his gentle nature comes across even in a photo. A strange thing to say but it's true: I'll remember him. One of our poets, Lars Forsell, also died this summer. He once said It's not the ageing that's painful, it's the weaning yourself away from being young. We see that so clearly with our animals, don't we, because of their short life span. I'll remember Shaney's longing to be swimming once more and I'll remember your love for him.

Glad you liked daTyger, Jude! I was referring to your son's wedding reception - didn't you say it was going to be at a golf club...? (Earlier this year, when you attended another golf club wedding reception...?)

LOL Robinia, I'm afraid that jig-and-jiggly joke was utterly wasted on yours truly...! I burn corrected. Many of the finer points and subtleties of your language escape me; sometimes I get one of the biddy jokes on my way home from the internet cafe or in bed in the middle of the night... but for each one I get there must be twenty I don't. Sometimes I'm aware of it, sometimes - like now - I'm not. That's okay, but I sometimes worry that the things I say may be ambiguous in ways that I'm not aware of, which would be difficult for y'all to know, as I'm often deliberately ambiguous. Guess you'll all just have to give me the benefit of the doubt if and when something I say seems unkind.

having said that... Just picking up on your 12.42 posting, Robinia...! Think I'd better whoosh now... (but I'll probably be back a little later.) (If you're gonna hit me, could you do it with a Swedish magazine.)

Ohgod what's taking her so long... she must be looking for the most devilish fat-joke on the entire www... Do I wanna wait around for it? No! Will I be back another day? Yes!

BTW, I misspelled our poet's name, it Forssell.

Bye now.
Looks like I'm always an s short today!
