Has anyone got one? and if so can you please tell me how the shampooing bit works, I have managed to soak all carpets and not a drop has been sucked up. My main confusion is do I have to switch between showering water, and sucking up in the same operation? I too scared to try it in case it blows up! Easy instructions please and thank you.

I know what you mean, jno about the 'missing T's' but even worse has to be the over pronounced T's & whistled S's that women announcers etc are often guilty of....there's one on tv - probably just my region & usually about 7-9pm - who has this odd pronunciation, sort of an affected cockney....eg she'll say "tonight at eight it's....." as "TonoyT aT ayT it'ssss...."

They always spoke posh on the BBC when I was a kid,I remember going on the tube in london,and just as you were alighting,you would hear,mend the gep... mend the gep..by the time you sussed it out you were laying on the track..hehe..!mind you kip...some woman from derby was reading the news the other night...couldnt make head or tail of it......apparently her ducks were alright..i think?erm...(:O)

wahey, I have been ballooning! Virgin cancelled our last 2 bookings because of fears of bad weather but they suddenly rang up today and said it was such a lovely day they were definitely going. By a miracle it was my day off... So we crawled along the roads for 2 hours to a field in East Angular - outside Braintree - and we floated for an hour, about 11 miles, in beautiful mild sunshine and warm air, and came down in another field and had some champagne just as the sun was setting. Wonderful! Can I do it again please!

Morning...'tis lovely again...top news item for this part of the world is(for robinia)..goats escape from the valley of the rocks....and eat flowers in grave yard..its quite funny,they put down a special cattle grid...but the goats were seen crawling on all fours across it..hehe..!yo.(:O)

Morning folks- well operation has been cancelled as I have food poisoning and I went to book in and fainted and vomited everywhere! So 4 hours later they discovered I have athritis in my neck and sugar in my blood. So am off to bed to keep warm as it cold here. Op is being re-scheduled. Love to you all x

Thank you all for sympathy but I fear it was self-inflicted as I ate some manky chorizo - if looked a bit strange but I ate it, so don't go blaming the World's favourite fast food establishment.
Still feel a bit "quiet" if you know what I mean.

jno I used to spend part of my childhood near Braintree, in a little (was then) village called Bradwell, so next time, give it a wave.

It's still rather chilly and darkish over here. Suppose it's bright and beautiful in old Blightly - prob snow in Sweden - oh lucky things.
